It seems like I remember seeing a similar one of these last year, but I thought this one was pretty funny.

The first person who responds with 'I've seen that before' gets one hundred of these...

Lots o' good stuff. This is actually my 30th year, here in Canada. I can still remember coming over from Germany. It's hard to believe it's been soo long... sighs...

Dron_Cah 12-02-2004 07:58 PM

Actually, Ronn, I know about quite a bit of the things that mentioned. I blame it ont he enormous amount of nostalgia YOUR generation has and its effect on television programs! ;)

Stormymystic 12-02-2004 08:51 PM

roflmao, though I was not born in 74.......

Aerich 12-02-2004 11:10 PM

I agree with Dron/Drew. I know most of this stuff from T.V. and I was kind of pleased with the whole Cd's were made teh year i was born thing. thats kool. I always Knew 86 Ruled! YEAHEAH! - James Hetfeild.

Q'alooaith 12-03-2004 02:10 AM

I thought I'd point out a few things..

>Bottle caps have always been screw off and plastic.

Still not true.

>They never took a swim and thought about Jaws.

Also untrue, some people born after 86 have seen the classics

>They don't know who Mork was or where he was from.

Oirk, I think.. Makes your statment unture..

>McDonald's never came in Styrofoam containers.
>
>They don't have a clue how to use a typewriter.

I remember McD's comming in Styrofoam.

I can use a typewriter.

And I've still got a TV that has no remote.

Dude. It's a joke, don't be lame. Of course they are generalisations, of course they are not the one and only absolute truth that applies to everyone. I do not really fall in the category myself (born in 1980) yet I remember most of the things listed. So what - it's a joooooke. For laughing. Humour. Y'know? ;)
