in Bg1's manual its written that level 6 priest spells are only usable by characters with wisdom 17 and above and level 8 spells only by wisdom 18 and obove...

Does this mean that anomen cant cast level 6 and 7 spells??? (his wisdom even after joining the order is 16)...

does it mean only viconia nd cernd can cast those spells??

i think he will be able to cast those spells, but just wont get BONUS spells for high wisdom.

No, luckily very few of the "you-must-be-smarter-than-THIS-stick" rules are implemented in BGII. Mages need high Int to scribe spells reliably, and to scribe many spells (without external help). Those are the only restrictions.

Minsc ought to have a spell failure rate that makes his spells very unreliable. They're not.

Those are the rules.

The game designers decided to ignore them because youwouldn't find out you'd messed up until you were 75% of the way through the game , this would piss everyone off, nevermind..those rules got ignored.
