Which are you?? Are you pro-abortion or anti-abortion and why??
Before you post, please, be civil, I know this is a controversial topic on some counts, and I don't want flaming.
Feel free to post your opinions, but just because someone has a different view, however wrong, just remember, if you aren't going to be polite, don't post: I'd rather have an empty thread than a flaming one.
Sorry if that sounded patronising, I just don't want it locked up.

Blinkin heck, you are taking a risk with this one! Let me have my say before it turns nasty...

I don't agree with the title - I'm pro-choice (ie. not anti-abortion) but saying 'pro-abortion' makes it sound like I think everyone should try it occassionally :D Which is obviously not the case, I think it is an unfortunate necessity. Statistically, most women who have abortions are older married women whos contraception has failed - so those arguements about abortion encouraging underage sex just do not wash with me. It's not a decision that any woman takes lightly.

I am in favour of people having the option to have an abortion, it would be much more cruel to have a child born to parents who do not wish it and can't/won't care for it than to end it's life before it gains consciousness.

Sorry, I should've made that clearer, are you anti-abortion, or do you think people should have the option.

This topic should light things up

OK, back to the question at hand, I'm pro-choice with a twist, I don't think it's moral except in special circumstances, and that it should never be used as a substitute for contraception, but I don't think the choice is mine to make. I think it should be left up to the individual.

Sorry, guys. Absolutely NO discussions on abortion. This is far too sensitive an area. Do not bring this topic up again.
