Pvping at 69..
 

My warrior is at 60 now. I'm leveling her as arm and plan to stay at arm forever as I love the look of a warrior wileding a two handed sword. Using two single handed weapons felt like playing a rogue.

Since the lack or rather the non existance of purple/epic dps plate at 5 man. I'm forced to pvp for them.

Will I fight with 70's at wsg? ab? av? Or can non 70 enter eots? I'm trying to avoid fighting 70's while farming my honors and marks at 69 for those welfare epics.

Only one you'll see 70's in is AV. There is a 60+ eots and a 70 only eots iirc, same with the other BG's. Honor caps at 75k last I checked, it may have been adjusted. I'd stick with the 2h for big dirty crits in PvP but you prolly know the dps will skyrocket for PvE with dual weapons. Not to mention windfury if you have a shammy in grp.

If you aren't planning on tanking the PvP/arena gear is pretty pointless unless you're sticking with PvP forever. The weapons are a different issue of course and are viable for both PvP and PvE.

I like 2h because it's something refreshing. If I want to dw I'll go back to my rogue. Plus I love charging at enemies, it's a nice change from stealth + sneak + sneak + sneak...

Oh, can I buy those gladiator armours at 69? or must I be a 70 to buy them?

You know what? I'm finding I'm earning less honour at 70 than I was at 69. Why is that? I thought it was supposed to increase at 70?

Not that I'm counting, as I enjoy pvp for pvp's sake, but it's a bit strange.

Probably because you dont have any items that have resilience and getting one two shotted by people having S2, S3, S4 items?

Alliance usually have 0 honor from AV. Sad to say..

Or, try getting into premades. you'll fare much better there and the honor gain is quite satisfying. Though some premades will demand that you have an absurd amount of resilience first before you can join them.

I have 212 resilience. Not much I know, but I don't ever get one shotted unless I have 10% health. I'd just heard of people earning 10K honour a day from AV. I don't know if they were botting or what? I used to earn 2k honour a night from EOTS, AB and WSG for a few hours of playing.

Probabaly because they are hordes? I've no idea what had happened, but hordes really dominated AV. I've read and actually seen screenshots of Alliance earning 0 honor from AV matches.

My dad plays and with his level 70 UD rogue, he says on AV weekend he can get 70k honor easy.

Getting 27k for my two swords is hard enough!!
