<font color="cyan">okay, i'm still new here, and need to meet some more peeps!!

heres the setting:

Nestled comfortably beside a (sometimes) quiet mountain stream, by a small waterfall, is an old tavern, that is frequented by all types.......drinking, fights, gambling, and other goings on happen .....no checking of weapons at the door, BUT......if you start a fight, you must only use ONE weapon in the fight, and the rest will declare the winner, no killing and the loser buys the ale!!
As for what goes on in the stairway, and rooms.....

that is up to you!!

Have fun!

OWWWWWWWWWWWW!!......rubs her head, grumbling, "i'm not a durn dwarf, where the heck did they get the idea a four foot ceiling is accomodating to all?"...yawns, and peeks out of her cloak, looking around the little room, and reaches to the rickety table next to the (well, what is supposed to pass for a bed?), and lights the candle.....

Neb 02-08-2002 03:59 AM

Neb walks in through the door and chooses a table in a dark corner, he calls to the serving wench for ale and waits for it patiently.

(OOC: Neb's pale, clad in a large dark blue cloak and otherwise normal clothing, his weapon is a large, enchanted, two-handed scimitar.)

J'aran 02-08-2002 08:11 AM

An extremely small, dodgy-looking Halfling, clad in a gray cloak, enters the Tavern. He glances around suspiciously and walks towards a table. As he passes Neb, he lightly brushes past the blue-robed figure. After sitting down, he orders a root-beer and pays with money that, only a minute earlier, was in a purse other than his own.

Neb 02-08-2002 08:14 AM

After drinking his ale Neb walks to the bar to order some food, he passes the halfling and lightly brushes his hand with his, this releases an electrical charge that has about the power of a small lightning into the halfling, flinging him across the room and into a wall.

J'aran 02-08-2002 08:33 AM

Creden Hillsburrow bounces off the wall and lands on the tavern floor, where he remains unconscious for a while. When he finally picks himself up, you can hear him mutter to himself: "Whew, I was lucky there that I was wearin' me isolated sandals, yon lightning might've killed me otherwise."
When he makes himself ready to leave, you can discern an object in the shape of a scimitar, almost as large as the Halfling, under his cloak.

Madman-Rogovich 02-08-2002 11:57 AM

under the influence of some kind of mind expansion madman stumbles in... hehe he giggled it remind me of my tranquil bar only....less violent at this point he props himself up on the bar and demands a pint of moloko (with knives for those of you who see he reference) inn order to charge himself up.

Neb 02-08-2002 12:01 PM

Neb had started chatting with another adventurer who inquired about his magical scimitar and wanted to see it, when Neb tried to unsheathe it he failed because Creden had stolen it, Neb stood up and said, "I'll be back in a moment."

He then walked out of the door and followed the halfling, it had begun raining heavily outside and the psionic could easily follow the thief's footprints in the mud.

TAOWolf 02-08-2002 01:24 PM

~sighs, hearing commmotion downstairs, and gets up, drawing on her boots, gloves and cloak.~ "time to go downstairs, and cause trouble" chuckles to herself.......~pulls out one of her amulets and consults with it~

J'aran 02-08-2002 01:59 PM

After walking for a couple hundred metres, Creden stopped at the side of a small hill, overgrown with foliage. He glanced around, but failed to notice Neb, who was quite concealed by the pouring rain. Then he reached inside the foliage, and suddenly a secret door opened in the side of the hill. Creden stepped through it.

In the safety of his burrow, he examined the loot of this day. There were several rings and other assorted pieces of jewelry, but nothing looked as expensive as the rather large and unwieldy (for the Halfling, at least) scimitar. Creden wasn't a wizard, but a tingling of his roguish instincts told him that this weapon was surely enchanted, and as such would fetch a good price.
