alright i axadentialy deleted some imporntant files so i just deleted the whole game thinking i could reinstall it but everytime i go to reinstall it says "do u waqnt to completely remove the selected application and all of it's components?" It has 2 options of ok and cancel
Cancel: ends entire instalation process
Ok: Takes me to a screen the says "Baldurs Gate 2: Shadows of Amn is performing requested operations" There is a blue bar on the bottom that fills to 100% in abou 2 seconds then the screen closes and the instalation ends

Please help if you know how

OK, first understand that if you follow these instructions and screw up you _will_ kill windows, and i will _not_ be held responsible.
so be careful.

go to start -> run -> regedit.

go to edit->find.

type "Baldurs Gate"

hit ok.

it will find all the registry keys that tell BG whether or not its installed (oh how i long for the paradise of dos with none of this crap).

delete them. try and aviod delting ones to do with BG1 tho.

restart.

if it still dosent work try looking for things like black isle and bioware.
