I have the Sunray Symbol but I can't get thru the second secret door am I missing something or is this a snag in the software.
Another question,in the first Baldur's Gate I believe I had somewhere to drop things if I did not want to carry stuff around. I have all these keys etc. what to do. I do have the scroll and jewel bag

Thanks guys

To the first question, try finding your way around ;)

To the second, well, I think you're just going to have to keep them. Maybe you could put them somewhere, but I don't rightly know.

You can just choose a container in the game to drop them in, usually in an area you frequent. I used to use one of the houses in the Promenade. Word of of warning, DO NOT use you stronghold building unless you have already taken control of it, as the game changes the map it uses, so your stuff won't be in the equivalent boxes in the new map.

when you say secret door do you mean the purple 'force field' doors?

if so you have to have a particular item in your inventory (found in the dungeon) to open the door - when you opened the first one you might have had one and used it but not realised

more hints are available on request . . .

Yes the purple doors, the first one I had a gem and it disappeared when I opened that door, I thought Sunray symbol was for the second door? Is there another item I have to pick up?

Armen 05-12-2006 02:43 PM

yes you need another item - if you think about it the purple doors are all the same . . .

the sunray symbol opens a normal looking wooden door

Truth be told, I've never opened the second purple door. I think you *have* to go around.

ive never opend the secound door either. a good place to store stuff, is in the bridge district, as there is a container right in front of you when you enter the area. also a warning, dont stash your stuff in places right in fron of npc's, because some think, as soon as you put the item there, its theirs, and if you go and take it again, they go hostile.
