Not saying that is old Hive but .... the copyright was 2002 :P

Anyone think that the picture of the pirate looks like Yorick? :hehe:

You can buy turntables and tape decks at the Source now, which copy right to your PC, via USB cable. So...

Maybe it's stage clothes, complete with parrot accessories.

I was thinking the same thing, but wasn't going to point it out.

I was also thinking about the usage of cassette tapes, back years ago in the glory days of vinyl. I've still got a number of mix tapes I made... got down to where I'd time the space between songs on an album so I could eliminate the white space between them. A whole cassette with no breaks between songs... awesome! :wow:

But these kids these days... :nono:

If the tape deck devices were less, I'd buy one. I would like to take a bunch of stuff off my tapes as well.

The guy at the Source even said to me that I could copy all the stuff and return it within X number of days of their return policy. What the heck kind of thing is that to say to a person.

It would be nice to rent it for a weekend.

You can buy a US$20 unit that will take an external audio source and connect it to your PC, letting you convert whatever you'd like (LP, cassette, 8-track, DAT, whatever!) to MP3. I've got one... now, to get my turntable and base unit back to working order...

As for the guy's comments, I suspect he's a wee bit mistaken. Most of the electronics stores that I know will not accept media returns if the media's been opened, other than to replace it with the same thing. Since I couldn't narrow it down, what's the full actual store name?

Well, he's talking about the tape machine, not the media itself, which would have a return policy.
