Xydussa felt the need to stone my favorite warlock and she is currently at the Inn in Ishad N`HA. She is not dead but the computer placed her in the morgue once i checked into the Inn. Her profile is not of a skull so i assume she can be recovered. The only way i have thought of is using my other warlock (once he acquires the the Level 6 spell)To use the stone to Flesh spell. I want to know if this is possible before i run up the exp. points on my warlock to obtain the spell, and if so, how do i do it with my stoned warlock unable to leave the Inn?

Welcome to the board, Joecool!!!

Do you have a save before you parked your character in the inn?? Did you try getting her healed at the temple?

I think you better reload! You can't cast spells in town. :(

I was afraid of that. I should have had a save before she got stoned as well as a save before the Inn but i just didn't think to do it. Live and learn Guess that is one warlock i will have to do without. But it will be fun developing another at this stage in the game. Thanks for your help.

some ideas:

1. Try shopping for a stone to flesh potion from one of the shops.

2. Donate gold to the temple, sometimes you get a potion, so you might get lucky. Or, when you go to the temple, can you select rites and healing?

3. Not sure about this one.. Reform your party with only your stoned warlock, go out of town, try and get yourself killed. Then your warlock will really be dead and you can go to the temple and be resurrected..

Well -

I've never tried this but it may be worth a shot -

If you send me a copy of your gamexx.sav ZIPPED or RARed, I can see if I can figure out how the information "stoned" is stored and see if I can remove it. Not sure that I will be able to but I'm willing to give it a try if you'd like.

Developing a new character from this point could actually be a lot of fun since the others will be there to protect the newbie. I often find that I will start a game, play for quite a while and then start over once I've really got the hang of the game.

and - as you have already learned - SAVE, SAVE, SAVE!! Multiple saves are a must! ;)

Thanks Wyvern I sent u the game but i don't know how to zip or Rared it. If it has to be one of those, then i will find one of my friends to help me package the saved game correctly for u.

Ends up the solution for this is far easier than I thought!

Joe sent me a copy of his game and after ferreting around in the hexfile and not coming up with any ideas of where the "stoned" information was being stored, I decided to load up the game.
I went into the INN and when I clicked on the character in question I was informed that she was in the Temple Morgue. I headed over to the Temple, clicked on RITES - and had the option (for a price) to have her restored to health.

Kewl! I didn't know that!
