Ever wish you could just exterminate them all? Heh, well I just whupped the 'best' they had with my level 20 Sorcerer.

I call this... Deja Vu. ;)

I know most people prefer to just pay for the licence, but I refuse to. Was a pain in the a** to walk around Amn with my solo Sorcerer until I reached level 15( Skeleton Warriors), then I began to grow in power and bided my time to wipe them all out.

I purposely chose Waukeen's Promenade for the final showdown... because it seemed appropriately ironic. ;) For the other battles, I fought in the Slums District and the Bridge District, because after the fight, I could use the leftover summons to do other quests or clear obstacles like the Fallen Paladins, Kidnappers, Thugs, etc... ...

Oh well, ;) I saved 5000 Gps and earned thousands more from selling off the scrolls and gems the Cowled Wizards drop. :D

What and where is the fallen paladin quest?

daan 11-15-2001 11:05 AM

I quite agree !!
I kill'em every single time, gets you great scrolls and money
Too bad though, that now that I'm soloing a cleric/mage they suddenly dont show up anymore. They treat EVERY spell, even the mage's, as cleric-spells, and these are allowed. So no fight for me :(

Go to the Order of the Most Radiant Heart building in the Temple District and speak with the man near the entrance. If you are of Good alignment, he will petition you to help him with a problem.

They be Planetars, a special summon that only Mages can have. You need to have ToB to have them. They are very powerful and you are only allowed to have one at a time, but because Project Image illusions ignore the summon limit, I could gate in two.

I paid for the license just because I had the money. Do the cowled wizards offer good experience?

cloud88 11-15-2001 12:56 PM

okay thanks for that

Well... the last fight is worth 32,000+ Xp, but I did not fight them because of the Xp, I fought them because I refuse to fill their coffers with my gold. It is about the principle, ;) I want to be able to cast my spells anywhere freely and woe to those who dare tell me otherwise. ;) ;)
