How did you people know what this was? I know what it is now from reading in here...but how were you supposed to learn this recipe? (Maybe I haven't got that far yet? I haven't used the 4 idols yet, only have 3 + serpent one so far).

The prisoner in the dungeon tells you if you give him his lockpicks. If you don't have them, you can use the hot poker from the room just before the jail, and torture him until he tells you. That sounds pretty evil for a band of good guys though.
