This is giving me the @#$%. I've just paid $A 60 to upgrade my Quicktime 5 to 5 Pro so I could save .mov files to my hard drive (to move into my iPaq) only to find out that there doesn't seem to be a way to export them as .mpg files!!!
Anyone know how to do this? |
Mario, to put you out of your misery, I think this is a real impossibility - I have looked for programs everywhere that do this precise thing and so far, in vain. Often have I scoured the stores looking for a program that does this and I've come up with absolutely nothing :(

Not sure...I tried downloading it, but the download leads me to a 404 error. :(

Have you tried a little programme called sound edit.
I haven't used it myself but I have seen my workmates mucking about with it. You may be able to convert it. Not sure if it is shareware though. I have a copy of it. somewhere. Lady Zidane |

I know you can use Adobe After effects to do it, but it's really expensive... not to mention very hard to learn.

Thanks, sky - I'll give that a shot. I don't know if that actually changes the format, but I'll give it a go anyway.
Apparently QT6 will do this - but it's still in beta testing mode and I don't want to upgrade from QT5 Pro to QT6 beta. |
