It basically just gives you what would have come with the bonus CDs, Deidre and Joluv, the merchants. None of the items are hacked.

Beware that downloading the "bonus merchants"-patch, may cause trouble in future re-installations!

You know... I never really understood it, I have completed ToB 4 times already... and I have never encountered any problems with downloading anything from Balderdash.

It is just a risk that something can be damaged. You are lucky that nothing happened. I'll not run the risk. Just uninstall ToB, install the patch and reinstall ToB.

Are those merchants the only thing on the bonus CD? Ive thought there was a new NPC as well as several new area's on it as well.
