you said you didn't like the way the thread was turning, may i ask why or rather which part you didn't like? Was it the TeamBG discussion or earlier parts of the thread?

I actually use a bit of TeamBG's stuff, and looking forward to your expansion...
(I couldn't get your Chime to work, though. I solo an Archer, and thought it would help me through traps, doors, and locked chests. oh, well)

Some of the responders were starting to attack LadyRae for taking offense. I don't like rudeness. IRL, I admit I use my size to intimidate others who act rude towards my friends.

I did lurk on TeamBG's forum,but admit I don't like the flaming that goes on. I've done, and received, my share of that, and am tired of it.

RudeDawg is based on my RL name, Rodolfo (Rudolf, or Rudy) and an old '70s cartoon RudeDog and the Dweebs. It was my nick in college, and on the UseNet, and back in the day when I worked inthe gaming industry. I still get "Are you THE RudeDawg" every once in-a-while, in the right circles. Too much history to give up the name.

Like I said, once I used to play in flame-wars, but I hurt someone once. It was bad, and I don't want to repeat it.

I personally didn't think that thread was getting bad. Other than LadyRae's first post which she apologized for, there was no flaming directed at anyone on the thread. In fact I thought it was actually quite positive - Shadowstrider just wanted to show us a face of TeamBG that maybe we hadn't seen before, and he's entitled to mention that, and others are entitled to disagree - just as long as nothing gets personal. http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif
