Urgh....

Just had the worst couple of days ever ( well since my mum died anyway ).

First of all...I am sick, got a dry throat and therefore I am coughing up slime and it REALLY becomes dragonballs on fire in the night - as my coughing quadruples in intensity.

So anyone know of any good remedies?

Next I was informed that one of my best friends from the public school had taken her own life by stepping in front of a train - nasty way to go - but I guess a 23 year old depression will do that to most people - she was 35 and had two small kids...makes me wonder about how fragile we can be.

I hope things improve for you neighbour, fingers crossed the next few days are better.

For the throat have you tried hot water with lemon and honey in, lots of lemon and honey. Can also add in a tot of whisky or brandy. It might help.
