There should be a couple of extra skills there, you can more promotions and most of the other skills will come then.

I have a level 17 warrior -> level 17 Samuri and a level 17 priest -> level 1 Monk.
They have just the basic skills in each of their guilds. How do I learn new skills?

By doing the quests which the guilds hand out you should rise in rank within the guild. The higher the rank, the more skills you can do. You should find a greater range of training options when you enter the guild and click on 'training'. Some skills depend on other skills or traits, for example you can't learn '2nd Weapon' until you learn 'Doublestrike', nor can you learn 'Forge' until you learn 'Blacksmith'

Thanks for your feedback. However, I am a level 3 member of the warrior guild and none of the extra skills show up. Is that because this is the basic guild or because I only have the traits that come with a samuri and warrior? LIkewise for my priest/monk.
