WELCOME TO IW!!!!!!! *ahem*
I better wiat for Cloudy to give the official welcome, but while we're waiting, hello!

Incredible isn't it? Heh, "A long time ago, in a blue board, far far way", there were only about fifty of us who posted regularly. We have seen the demise of many BG boards come and go. The once mighty BG Dungeon Tavern once made IW look like a ghost town by comparison, and yet they no longer exist. IW alone stands the test of time. IW Rules!

Thanks Talthyr

I remember the dungeon, I was saddened to see it pass away.

BS I know what you mean. Alot of us old Blue Boarders were members of both IW and BG Dungeon Tavern both. The Tavern was a great place, but the seeds of discord and controversy were just too prominent which ultimately led to their demise. IW in those days was a close knit group of people, we were more like a family of friends rather than the controversy and flaming that overcame the Tavern. I have seen too many boards go down the drain due to controversy and flaming, the lack of which makes IW so great and one of the many reasons why IW stands the test of time.

We should come up with a slogan, something like "Come for questions about BG2 stay for the GD" what do you guys think? thats pretty much what I did. I logged to ask some question when I was playing BG2 alot. I always got polite, if not friendly encouragement and advice. After I quit playing BG2 so much(i still play, just not as often.) I used to log on and answer questions for the newbies and people needing help on some stuff. Then one day I wondered into the GD which is where I now spend most of my IW time. What can I say im hooked. Even when I dont post a lot I still come here to read stuff. I hope IW lasts forever, and im pretty sure it will.
