I just got this from my usual junk subscibed mails :D . All i can say I am astounded. Its in gamespy.com articles. Sony will be releasing PSP. No its not the next version of ps2 or any playstation consoles you will be familiar. It is Playstation Portable. Yep folks, its going portable consoles that you can bring around. Link is below for the complete juicy details that is coming out early 2005 worldwide.

basically, this PSP has the power of a PS2 (meaning 1.333 so they say) and has the same quality in a small lcd and stuff in a small package. Better yet, for two players, it will be going wireless connection! Amazing! Several companies have already signed up for thier games to play on it. I want this for sure! :D .

Pretty amazing little piece of hardware hey! I've been waiting for this one for about 2 years now and the launch date is nearing! Japan should have it end of this year and hopefully, it will reach us by 1st quarter next year if all goes well!

It's ok, though, I'm bigger in the console field, so that should be expected. yeah, these puppies are gonna be pretty expensive, so I might wait till they go down in price, if I get one at all. (Also, I've heard people worrying about the protection of the discs and screen of the PSP, which is something to think about. Oh well, prolly one more bit of merchandice for Sony to chash in on: The PSP disc holder!)
