~She looks up at him, her grey-blue eyes brightening.~ "Yes. We." ~She looks ahead to the street, choosing her next words. She looks back at him, curious eyes narrowing.~ "Did you think perhaps, in this time of relative peace that we might pursue such a venture?"

<font color=gray>Okay then... well, here we are! He stopped next to a sign that read 'The Copper Coronet'. Now, watch your step... and what you say and who you say it to... He pushed open the large wooden door, revealing a cesspool of crime and evil. Three men were hurling insults at them, but nobody paid them any heed. Sephi immediately sought out Bernard, the fat innkeeper of the Coronet. A pit to their right contained two duelists, and Sephi saw that one of the fighters was a person hurling insults earlier. They passed a well-dressed man, and then the daughter of a nobleman obviously, before he finally reached Bernard. Hello Bernard, I trust that all is well in the city?</font>
<font color=cyan>Git outta here! Didn't I tell ye not to set foot in me tavern again?</font>
<font color=gray>Bernard! How callous can you be? I have brought companions with me this time, and word can get around awfully quick when there are three people as the source...</font>
<font color=cyan>Okay okay, fine. Since when are you traveling with a group anyways? I'll give you a room... for them. But don't you be comin' back by yerself, or I'll have me bouncers toss ye out on yer arse!</font>

Neb leaned over to Kaz and whispered, "Seems as though our friend isn't
well-liked here, I wonder what he did to gain the innkeeper's dislike? I think we should be wary about our friend here, he does not seem like a completely normal mercenary."

<font color="ghostwhite">Kaz nodded, yawning. "I would watch him, but I do not believe he will betray us... let us rest and continue in the morning."
In her rooms, Kaz decided to copy the scroll she'd bought. She worked carefully and slowly and managed to copy it without error. Deciding to memorize the spells the next morning, she fell asleep quickly.</font>

OOC: *yawn* it isn't just my character who's tired, me too! Good night all! Cya tomorrow!

"Well, mercenary, I believe I shall retire as well." said Neb, and walked to his room, after blocking the window and making sure the door could only be opened from the inside he fell asleep quickly as well.

"I think we could." His thoughts drifted to the future and he smiled to himself.

<font color=gray>Sephi had managed to get them the most luxurious accomodations in the inn. It had cost him over 10 gold, but his new companions deserved a bit of luxury, he thought.
When he was absolutely positive that everybody was in the room to stay, he barred the door shut. He had to stand guard, and wasn't about to be caught off guard by anything! Intently he watched the door, anticipating anything. He had set traps on the windows, nothing more than a simple dart and arrow trap. At last he was confident in the defenses, and allowed himself to relax enough to allow himself to fall into a trance to sort out his head a little bit.</font>
