Thought this might be fun to try... and since it seems to be a popular topic on the BG board, let's see how it goes.

Okay, today's trivia question:

Which NPC do you encounter the most in a typical game? And how many times?

Note that multiple occurrences in the same area don't count. So you can't run back and forth to Kerielle eleven times and call her the winner, and Erathsmedor's multiple fly-by flamings count as just one.

All answers will be accepted. They will then be open to interpretation and <strike>heated disagreement</strike> friendly discussion in the Boogre Bar :D

I'd say Mekdawa. Ukabu, come here!

Oops, forgot to say how many times. Uh, 854? Well, too many anyhow.

Check that first rule, Jon. Those 854 meetings count as just one. Now, if you also saw him in the Toad Village, that would be a second...

Sorry I wasn't more clear.

I KNOW!!!!!!!! PICK ME!!!!!I* GOT TEH ANSWER!!!!!!!!OOOOH MEEE COME ON MEE... sry

The same goes for Cet. 1. The encounter in Skull Castle. 2. The Kerah/Cet confrontation in the Pyramid. 3. The final battle.

Anephas is also encountered thrice if one vanishes into the monkey chute.

D'Soto is also encountered thrice. In the tower, after the slaying of Haleabus, and the first encounter when he pops out of the painted picture and issues a warning when one is about to step into the kitchen filled with imps.

Good answers. I can think of someone who is encountered at least five times, though...

Kakero 02-05-2005 04:40 PM

Statue of Kerah? Does that count? Stange though you can find her statue in the most unusual place. Like in Temple of Serpents. I thought that place is suppose to be evil. What's a Statue of kerah doing there?

Hmmm... that's a question that Missy Hissy was wondering during her travels through the Gael Serran... ;)

You're close, Kakero... but not quite there.

i havent played Wizards & Warriors for quite a while but i'll try to think of something. well i think it is the statute though because it's around alot. Was it called the Arcane statue. i dunno. Good question Bungleau!!!!

1. Crypt
2. Near the gypsy hut
3. Serpent Temple
4. The piece of land wih the pirate on it. ( Talrik ??)

hmmm lemme see.... wats the fifth 1. i'll be back with the fifth 1 ( if there is 1 ) by tommorrow. Although u would have answered by then so..... eh.

Dowry Priests are NPC's because they only attack if you choose the wrong dialogue choice or if you attack them.....and if you dont pay 2000 gold for admission. The only reason they should be disqualified is if they respawn.

......Does n e 1 know if they respawn???

Well, you guys are in the right place. Since we're heading into a discussion of what's what, let me answer this one by saying I believe it's... <font color="#44341D">Kerah. You encounter her multiple times...

1. In the crypt (her statue)
2. In the secret room in the Serpent Temple
3. In the underwater temple at the bottom of Anephas' Shrine
4. In the conflict room in the Pyramid
5. After the final conflict, where she asks for the Mavin.

I'm leaving out the two statues of Kerah for the Paladin promotions because I figure those are really just programmed, but if you wanted to include those, that would make 7. </font>

Stay tuned for the next trivia question...
