I never found any assassin stuff in the castle. I finished it before turning my char into an assassin. Was wondering if anyone remembered exactle where this stuff was and if I could still find it. Thanks!

Teasure seems to be rather randomly generated. I have at times opened a chest, restored my game and then reopened the same chest to find different items. While I was playing I did find some assassin gear but I don't think there is any set location for them to appear.
Maybe you will find some as you continue to explore.

Anyone know differently than this??

contents of chests is randomly generated. If you have alrady picked it up and sold it the shopkeeper will still have it. if you dropped it in a dungeon the sweeper upper will have cleared it away with all the rubbish as he / she does not want you leaving a trail to follow. You may never even get any assasin gear. Make do with rusty swords like the rest of us.

Oh goody goody look whats in this chest another rusty sword, well my mother always said you cant have to many rusty swords and make sure you have clean underpants on.

better add some chests will always contain a certain item ie the shroud in the chest in shruggen as these are either quest items or required to progress.

Hmm... Suppose I got lucky, but I found them at Skull Castle (not Shurugeon) in the same chest (shitagi and tabi). My guess is that you won't get anything with +3 from Shurugeon.
