Don't leave your PC paused. The romances in SoA are on "playing time."

Hmm, chapter 4 you say? Maybe you've reached a point in the romance that needs to be triggered by sleeping in the wilderness or something, which is not an option since you're not in a chapter where that's really much of an option. You'll have to wait until you're back to Amn in that case... :(

Yes, Jaheira spoke to me also about the sun and stuff for some time, but I didn't pay attention much. In many cases you need to be outside the city with Jaheira, and also rest at times. Easiest place is the De'Arnise Keep - go there, and hit the rest button, and see what happens.

Also, as was said, the romance timers are based on REAL time, so if you pause your game, the romance timer is still ticking..

EDIT: By De'Arnise Keep I mean the area, not the keep itself. Do not go into the keep, enough is to get on the map, say, to lower right corner. Enough wilderness there :D
