Highest AC

Well it seems to have quieted down again so...

What is the highest AC that you have gotten?

By Blessing items I have gotten a Zenmaster to AC 102 and a Barbarian to 100.

Not sure what the best AC would have been before blessing everything though (Didn't think to write it down.)

Not sure how high a Warlock or Thief can get.

I'll have to check it out. I know I routinely get everyone in the 40s, but I'm not sure how high up I've gotten them.

What have you blessed and used (equipment-wise)?

I think two silver rings and a bronze cuff will get you +48 between them. I usually don't bless armor because it's not as effective, but I could be persuaded to change my ways for an experiment ;)

I'll take a look and let you know...

He has blessed everything he can that's for sure :D AFAIK, you can get:

- 2 rings + bronze cuff - AC 42
- Ardibren's Keepsake - AC 14, but it costs you the second weapon or a shield
- Plate of the Realm - AC 10, it can be blessed higher but, IMO, it does not make sense. With AC 10, you still have "slots" for Regeneration 3 and, IIRC, even some slots for resistances.
- Helm of the Realm - AC 4, it can be blessed higher but it does not make sense.
- Eye of Heaven - AC 5

That's AC 75. Now, you can also bless the Ringmail Coif, greaves, boots and gauntlets. Also, I never use shields (because of the second weapon). Perhaps, using a shield tohether with the Shield skill will give you more than the relic.

Shields don't add to your AC, though, IIRC. Perhaps someone with the Spirit Robes trait (if my memory is working properly) and appropriately blessed robes might get closer...

So Law, what are you wearing? :)

Re: Highest AC

The Zenmaster is wearing the Kimono of the Dragon and has the Spirit Trait (whatever it is called) which gives the extra 2 AC over the Barbarian who is wearing the Plate of the Realm.

In addition to that, they both are using "Plate+2" leggings, boots, gauntlets and the ringmail coif+2 that are all blessed.

As well as the items that Radek pointed out:
- 2 rings (14 each) and bronze cuff - This is 15 so they total to AC 43
- Ardibren's Keepsake - AC 14
- Helm of the Realm
- Eye of Heaven - AC 5

In actual play I don't usually have this high of an AC - I would rather have a Bow (and fletching arrows - how else to pay for all the blessings on the armor) or Wakashashi+2 (blessed) in the second hand slot. I didn't even know that the Ardibren's Keepsake could be blessed until Radek (I think) mentioned that about a week ago which started this experiment.
I also add enough resistances to get to 100% - usually to one of the rings (Cuff works too). Adding resistances to the armor items does not give you the full amount.

Note: Bungleau is right, I blessed the Round Shield with AC and even though it added the AC+1 trait to the shield it did not effect the AC of the character.

One other thing: The ringmail coif is the only ringmail item that I have found. Has anyone found any other ringmail items?

This is the only item that I Enchant.

With 80% Fire, Ice, and whatever the third one is, plus the 20% spots it naturally has, you don't need AC :hehe:
