Is it a good idea to go back down into the crypt to kill rumphy again and again to get more exp points to make my charecters powerfuler?

What are the best spells?

What are the best wepons and armors in all the towns?

What are the best roles besides the Zenmaster, Assasin, and Vykalriye?

Is it a good thing to get a vampire in your group and if so who in the group should get bitten?

Is it a good thing to have LOT of gold?

What are the fastest and strongest races and wich ones are best for my group?

Eney tips for beginners like myself?

Welcome to the board, Tavis!!!

Check out the BEST TIPS thread for a lot of useful information.

As to what characters/races etc. you should create - create what you like!! All races are pretty neat to play for one reason or another.

You will be able to change class as you progress through the game so don't fret about which class. The only thing you should be cautious about is changing a magic user from one class to another before they have learned higher level spells. It's always best to let them learn all the best spells all the way to level 7 before switching them to another class.

ZenMaster and Valkyrie are only available at the very end of the game :( BUT since you can reset the adventures and play the game from the beginning with you current characters, those classes are fun for a second pass through the game!

Gold is very useful especially for training. There are good tips on how to make gold in the BEST TIPS thread!

Not all the spells are really worth while. The Blood to Gold spell is the worst so don't bother with it at all. Personally, I like to choose good offensive spells and good healing spells. Illumination helps a lot for exploring when it is night time. Cure Poison is really helpful when you do the Serpent Temple. Create Portal, Teleport and Call of Home are especially useful when you finally reach the Lost Sea area.

Don't fret to much about how to create your party and which weapons and things to get. PLAY!!!

When you have trouble, come on back and we'll lend you a hand!

Hi Tavis!

Pay for the training and the training will be complete when that character makes their next level up.

That help?

Oh yeah now i also 2 other questions and the answer to why i asked you about the strongest and fastest races.

About the races, i asked about the races because i read something in the tips area of the wb site for wizards and warriors about buying armor and stuff and how if you had the strongest races in your group and bought the best armor and wepons in the beggining of the game your partey would kike butt for a super long time without having to buy other new wepons and stuff.

the two questions are How do i use that booger guys lamp and how do i make the wishes is theyr a spicific way i have to phrase them and are theyr limits to the wishes like "I wish the whole group where all Zenmasters." or somnething like that.

I must admit that you have me a bit confused as to where you are in the game. You're asking questions about how to set up a good party and at the same time asking questions about the magic lamp.

Well, whatever - the lamp is a multiple choice thing. You choose from the 3 options offered. You don't type in anything. You can't wish to be a ZenMaster, you have to earn that! :D

There are ways to use the lamp over and over again but there are limits. You'll probably find that it sounds a lot neater than it is. You will get some nice items but most good things are found randomly in chests as you explore anyways.

It is just that simple. One thing I would like to add though; http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...ons/icon31.gif

When you level up, Don't spend skill points on any skill you can train in. The guild's always train you to the next 'full' level and they do round down not up. http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...ons/icon13.gif

example; If you spend 1 skill point to increase axe 2 to 2 & 50%, then when you go to train up, it will only be to 3, not to 3 & 50%.

I played up to the booger dude and got the lamp but then i came hear found that i could get three wishes and tride to use the lamp bye right clicking on it in my invetory just outside of ishad na and it dosent have an invoke button. but as to why im asking questions about the game for the beggining is because i rstarted the game cus i was lost in the mines and descided to give it a new shot and start all over again but wile i was in the mines my charecters kicked butt easily because i went down into the crypt again and again with my magik users and killed rumphyus ghost again and again just to get the magik up to level seven. Yeah it took a while but it was worth it!

http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...cons/icon2.gif To use the Lamp, Click on the USE/GIVE icon. (the flask & scoll) Then you get a blue targeting cursor and click on a character.

If you go to 'Valeia' and follow the steps in the 'Best Tips' thread, you'll get more wishes then you'll know what to do with.

http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...ons/icon31.gif ...The reason for going back to 'Valeia' is that you have an unlimited supply of 'mules'.

One other thing I would like to add; Next time you go to the 'Stout Mines',...take a good map.lol!!! http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...ons/icon27.gif

..Sorry, I couldn't pass that one up.
IMHO, try here first http://www.volberding.com/WHints/
