Ok Im completly oblivious about what to do right now. Im by the Lum machine and there is a door beyond 2 rows of torches that doesnt open. What am I supposed to do here? Got all these notes but Im not getting it...how can I proceed here?

Are the torches lit?
If not, do you have anything to light them with? (Both something to burn and something to light it with)
If yes, are they lit in the correct configuration?

You'll need something to light them with and something to fill them. To figure out the configuration... Look at the map for anything that might help you to choose a nice pattern.

I have the oils and I can light the lamps...but nothing happens!

The three colors must be in a proper sequence. Look at your surroundings. Look at the map. Do you see anything telling you what order the colors should be in?
