Thanks Daniel and Moni! I am bewildered about many things concerning .mpg,.avi,.WMV, vidieo files. If you received the first one that was a .mpg and second was .avi file. I will go back to the drawing board then, and keep exploring this wonderful device known as the cumputer
Any help would REALLY be appreciated in this crazy limited type of art. Dealing with 8-10 meg shorts is very challenging to try to send or post them. Any ideas guys? What is the most common all around media player to format this type of file to? Thanks again!

You are very welcome.
My whole PC has me bewildered at the moment.
I also have WMP 7 and it should play both avi's and cda's but it would not open your file or some tracks from a CD that I transferred onto my HD for later recording onto a CDRW just before I gave the CD away lol. I am so SOL now! I have to hope I can find another copy of the CD in a used music store in San Antonio. Had I only had the sense to record them as .wav's and then convert them into MP3's first it would not have been a problem!! The price we pay for being lazy some days LOL. ;)

I can't help you out with any ideas for compressing the video beyond having it downloaded in a .zip or .rar file provided it is not corrupted. I did click on its properties and tried to preview it and after a second of actually getting to view the file (with sound), I got a new message window for error.
This one read: MCI Error MMSYSTEM296 The file cannot be played on the specified MCI decive. The file may be corrupt or not in the correct format.

Any guesses from me are not worth beans at this point in time LOL.
Best of Luck getting it figured out!
