Internet woman - you have to pay to get access to her

Server woman - Always busy when you need her

Virus woman - You don't even notice and before you know it she's moved into your home and taken over everything

Powerpoint woman - Good for showing to your friends, but has no value in herself

Excel woman - They say she's good for everything, but you only use her for her basic functions

Word woman - She always has a new surprise for you and no man on Earth can understand her

USB port woman - She states proudly that any type of gadget can be plugged into her

Backup woman - You think she's everything you need in an emergency but really she can't offer anywhere near that kind of security

Scandisk woman - We know she's useful and only wants to help, but in reality no one knows what she's doing

Screensaver woman - Not good for anything, but entertaining

Cable woman - Only thing she's good for is getting "plugged"

Infrared woman - Wants to keep the relationship going long distance, without ever getting in touch

Monitor woman - She shows you everything but can't see anything you try to tell her

Keyboard woman - Every function needs a different key stroke combination, but it's possible to learn them all and then it all works quite well

Modem woman - Good at making a connection, but eventually it will be lost and the relationship will die

RAM - As soon as you lose touch, she forgets everything

Hard disk woman - She always remembers everything

Mouse woman - Only does anything if you keep pushing her

Multimedia woman - She makes everything beautiful, but when she's turned off, everything becomes boring again

End User woman - She does everything wrong, asks stupid questions and tries to udnerstand everything

Windows woman - You know she has many problems, but you can't live without her

Email woman - She tells every piece of crap to everyone, but fails to tell you the important things

Computer woman - An imperfect combination of all the above, who damages your soul further every time you spend time with her

:D

<span style="color: lightblue">Well, there's always alternatives, they just tend take a bit of getting used to.

Well, Lennon, I dont think I'm willing the swing to the other side, so I guess I'm just gonna have to live with it! :D

Ah, well, if it gets the point across... which it might just be doing if I'm lucky.

<span style="color: lightblue">Well, I can't say I blame you on that, but just look at all the other options in the list! Doesn't that USB woman look just slightly more worthwhile? ;)

Yes Lennon, we know you're a hero, trend-setter and all-round amazing role-model. Just think, using Linux! What a new idea! Most research groups in communications (my area) I know of use Linux for all their computing, so don't worry, Windows is not really that dominant, only in the non-technical user base (which is, ok the largest, but by no means the only one)

LOL, right on Vasky! Lennon, give it a rest already. I'm sure anyone in the least bit interested in trying alternatives to Windows must've read one of your posts about it by now, so no need to continue the crusade around here. ;)
Nice list, BTW, Uncle Vask. Wholly inaccurate and incomplete of course, but still, nice. ;)

I think I am married to Word woman. With a touch of Hard Disk woman.
