Heroes season 3!
 

Maybe it's a bit early, but the trailers look really good! Does anyone have some news on what we can expect this season?

..will we see even one unattractive female this season??

And very close to that date for Europe. This year they want to release them almost universally, instead of the few months wait that typically follows for the rest of the world.

Always starts in the US earlier, but then again, I always download them the night they are screened in the US.

Like House was in the US two days ago, first episode of season 5, watched it this morning, and it was awesome :D

And geif Heroes S3, can't wait :D

Gonna have Prison break, house and Heroes to work through now...just 24 and lost in January :(

It was great. Look like there's going to be a lot of action. And from the preview for next week's episode it look like Sylar may finally be getting some character development. Also I hope Claire finally learn to fight.

Definately up to par of the end of season 1. I don't think the beginning of season 1 will ever come back, they've made the stories too complex. I'm beginning to think they put in plot twists for the sake of plot twists, which is kinda lame. Example:

yeah, that was kinda dumb, but I could see it coming. I'm sure she's gonna be preggo with "extra" mutant child.

Poor Matt, in the middle of nowhere...

I hope that "electricity chick" will be a better character, now that her dad is dead.

What exactly did the electricity girl do to Sylar? I mean, maybe I missed something as I blinked but how did she "beat" him with her powers?

Also, why is Nikki now Icewoman? New powers? Or am I forgetting something that happend in season 2 since it was so very long ago?

I'm not sure about Nikki but I'm guessing it's a new personality. Maybe each personality has different powers, may have something to do with hormones.

I think electric hottie just let out a huge burst of energy, in response to what he was doing. That's gonna mess up anybody. They manged to sedate him, before he could recover.

Nikki is very strange. Did she gain some weight in her face?

I'm inclined to agree here... I mean, it'd make sense.

And you never know about Sylar's new backstory. Could be that she lied to him, to use him for her own ends. God knows she does that enough. :D

Interesting. Look like Nikki is a clone (perhaps from the formula? Each clone has different powers??)

Sylar now has sonic scream (did Peter Acquire those powers or could he just use Jesses powers since he as in his body?)

Knox was cool and to bad the german dies so soon. he could have been another bad ass Magneto :)

I would think that, in the very short time he was forced out of his body, his own powers would have yoinked, for lack of a better term, the sonic scream power.

Can't wait for hte next episode. A side of Sylar we've never seen before? Count me interested :D

One thing I don't understand...how could future Claire kill future Peter? I thought that Peter could heal...

Something about shooting the base of the brain from behind. It probably doesn't kill him, just prevent regeneration while the bullet is lodged, so it's a temporary death.

Although I'm not sure cloned powers are as real as the originals. Maybe he can't completely emulate Claire's immortality. After all he's got to still have some life in his to use his cloning power...

Well he was shot from behind at least. Maybe just an oversight. But I think the Haitian was there somewhere otherwise they could have just stopped time/teleported away or any other such powers.

He can. But only once the bullet has been removed. It's like when Claire was killed in season one, and woke up in the morgue after the pathologist removed the branch from her. Or like when she could only heal when sylar replaced the top of her head.

There are limitations to the power; If the bullets are lodged in Peter's Heart/Brain, he'll only heal once they've been removed. :)

Loving series three, but I find myself rather bored of Hiro, actually. I'm just loving the sylar storyline at the moment. :D

Funny, I think I Hiro and Ando the best. I think they're the comic relief right now.

I find a lot of twists and turns, but it doesn't seem to be going anywhere.

It's not totally made up. Adam had his powers back in what, the 1800's? Genetic engineering didn't exist back then... Just to say that some are engineered but other are not.

Frankly, I think the Hiro/Ando story is crap and very unbelievable. Hiro stabbing Ando like that? Even if he has an escape plan, he would never have had the heart to actually stab his friend like that. Hiro is still a bit of a coward... Also the tension between them is very artificial and seems cliched till the end. But it's the only part I'm not really liking right now, kind of how I disliked the whole Nikki thing in the first season but still thought the rest was awexome.

With heroes the problem is you never know how good the story actually is going to be because the direction the show is going is almost never apparant. Season 2 turned out to be a bit of a letdown while 3 got me hooked again. Lots of surprising stuff happening.

We don't know if Adam was born in that time, or sent there, right?

Maybe he was sent to the past to prevent/change some future event?

"Barbara" was mentioned as the third sister last night. ..wonder when we'll see here?

In this last episode, did Hiro teleport the blonde dude back into the coffin a few times? I thought he could only teleport himself. Wait, he can teleport Ando but he always touches him when he does that. If he can now teleport people with a mere thought and no physical touch then...wtf? Daffney shouldn't ever be a problem.

Btw, I think he killed Ando with the intention of going back in time to save him after he got the info. he needed.

I don't know what happened with Ando. It certainly looked real.

I think the coffin thing is just turning back time to before he open the coffin, not teleporting at all. That's why he back in time a bit and said "let's try this again".

Vortex guy was quite cool. He could certainly help with the landfill sites!

I don't know if i'm as crazy about this season as I was about the last 2. There is something missing, and I agree, there are a few plot twists intorduced just for the sake of doing so. Hope it will get better. It's not bad by any means, just not amazing.

I think I understand what you mean. It took some wind out of my sales when they revealed that most of them were genetically enhanced.

Plus, I find there's too many little stories going on. I would have liked less characters with a tighter plot.

I do not think most of the were genetically enhanced but I do find interesting that both Nikki an Nathan were enhanced and both have had (relativly) powrfull offspring in Micah (taking with machines in this day andage??) and Claire.

Peter and Sylar were born with their gifts IMO.

So what do we think Papa Petrilli's power is?

Do you think they will find a way to give powers back to Peter?

Will Papa Petrelli become nicer now that he can use Peter's power to copy other powers instead of taking them away?

I was a bit surprised that Peter survived having his powers stolen after what happened to Adam. I guess you can say that all that time caught up to Adam without his regeneration, but then why wouldn't all the fatal wounds that Peter has healed have reappeared?
