Stuck again
 

OK, I just started CH 6 after leaving the Underdark and was told to get some relic and bring it back. I went to all 3 of the new areas on the map it opened and nothing, I went back to Athkatla and killed Bohdi with Drizzt and can't find anything there either. I found some books that said to talk to Ohgma, but all I can find is a Priestess of Ohgma. There's nothing in my journal to give me more hints and I don't feel like going through ever area again so to hopefully save time, can someone give me some hint as to where to go next? You don't have to spell it out, but I have no clue where to look so if you could narrow it down to a certain map that would be helpful. Thanks

told by who, to bring it back where? Can you recall what the relic was called?

I came out of the Underdark and was given the 5th degree by some elves that were thinking we may have been in business with the Drow or Irenicus and Bohdi. They gave me holy water and stakes to kill the vampires. Don't remember the name of the relic. I assumed it was what everyone had to do, but I guess some don't even go to the underdark and some may answer differently and just kill the elves. Hope that might help.

I'm looking up some help from internet searches and I believe it's called the "Rhynn Lanthorn". Quest given to me by Elhan.

hmmm... have you tried uhs-hints.com? sometimes they're pretty good. In the meantime I'll see what I can dig up. maybe someone will beat me to it.

Ok, when you kill bodhi, you need to find her coffin and stake her. You should recieve the item after that.

OK, thanks! I didn't see her coffin behind the chest. I speared all the other coffins on the main floor, but didn't see the important one. Oops. Off to the elves! Thanks again!

The game provides you with this very helpful little thing called a Journal. It's a lot easier to read than walkthroughs, and helps you to avoid somewhat catty response like this one.

Well if any of you noticed, frostbyte had already done what they were supposed to do. The only problem being they weren't able to locate Bohdi's coffin to complete it.

As I said I had the same issue. If you're not sure exactly where to look, you might have trouble seeing it. I know I did.

Besides, if you read carefully, frostbyte DID look into his journal.

Good call, I did indeed overlook that bit. It seems that frostbyte's ignorance of the name of the object he was looking for, followed immediately as it was by his mentions of online searches and walkthroughs, led me to believe that he was another one of those "I-want-it-now-but-can't-be-troubled-to-work-it-out-for-myself" powergamer types. I acknowledge my premature assumption. Personally, I have always throught that the Journal gave rather meticulous information about all critical events of the Main Plot, but since I have no savegame anywhere near there, I can't verify it one way or the other. My apologies for any bruised feelings.

Oh, and Western Paladin? That's a really cute little vendetta you have there. What are you going to name it?

Sorry six, I know you're a lot more knowledgeable of the game than my self and many others, but that's no reason to get uppity. You apologized for your mistake, just move on. I had the same problem with reading in another thread concerning the monk and dual classing, remember?
