Yes you can. Treat her nice and be supportive, be very supportive, tolerant, selfless and understanding. I hope you have fully patched your game, because her romance is notoriously buggy. You may refer to the Welcome Thread for a link to the patches.

If you're planning on romancing anyone, I'd suggest Aerie. She's the funniest one to romance with, cause eventually she'll become pregnant with you, and will give birth the your child. This only happens with Aerie. ;) </font>

all these corrections are great (don't take that sarcastically i mean it, they are very helpful), but how do i start a romance with aerie as opposed to jaheira? I know that the big kicker for the jahiera romance is the buying of the locket for her, but what about aerie? Do i have to not have jahiera in my party to romance aerie or what? What is the main trigger or conversation that starts it with her? And how soon is it into the game? I beat the game 3 times but this is the 1st time i am playing with aerie

the locket has no impact on the jah romance. none at all.
Aerie...you have her in the party and she'll strike up conversations with you. just think nice, nice, nice and try not to be put off by her whining.

i always thought the locket had something to do with it...why have it at all then? just to waste 20 gp? thats quite dissapointing

I believe that if you buy the locket, it starts the romance if you havent already.

What you really should do if you want some entertaining romance(a.k.a Sitcom) you should be equally nice to Jaheira and Aerie, eventually they start competing over you and hate each other( as if they didn't already) [img]tongue.gif[/img]

And what is the locket you buy for Jah to start the romance?

i heard somewhere that aerie won't romance your character unless you are not evil... i am a neutral evil thief, will that mess up my plans, or is that just a rumor?

I haven't really tried evil characters-I just cannot roleplay them. No, the Jaheira romance is triggered by accepting Gaelan's offer. THE LOCKET HAS NO IMPACT! it's just a little easter egg, that's all.

open the game with the caracter? you mean start a new game and change his alignment there? or use shadowkeeper? or do it in the game itself? i don;t get it....mind you i don;t really wanna start the game over again

no...access the application "Shadowkeeper" (looks like a little purple shield and sword) and then, when it's finished accessing BG directory, click "file" then "Open save game". Sir E's advice goes on from there.

In TDD there is an item which changes your alignment to the alignment of your choice.

As you may know, if you do the Aerie romance properly, she will want to sleep with you eventually( NOTE: The first time she asks, refuse nicely). The baby is simply the end result of a night of passion( at least I hope it was a night of passion ;) ) and the culmination of the Aerie romance.

damn...so non babies pop out in BG2? thats dissapointing
