Brutal hammers are the best!!!! It's red wine and vodka.

robertthebard 04-20-2007 04:24 AM

Straight up Crown Royal, or Bacardi, but don't do straight up Bacardi 151's, or at least, not too many... While I have no real idea on the spelling, Kumalibra, Rum and Coke with a twist of lime, is a really good mixed drink as well.

In Denmark we have something called an Æselspark (translates into donkey kick) that does a pretty nice job of living up to it's name. :D

Jameson's on the rocks. No question about it. Or, if you're feeling jaunty and they know how to make them, margaritas are nice, too.

Bozos of Bones 04-20-2007 05:08 AM

The simple yet tasty B52s, classic Mai Tais and my dear Wiki Waki Woos are always a good choice.
Or, you could try the Three Wise Men and get so hammered you won't even know what bus hit you.

Cheeky Vimto, I've never found out how something that tastes like that can be alcoholic.

2-3 tequila with salt and a lemon in a few minutes does wonders

I'm a big fan of Vodka and Red Bull, but I have been told that Absynthe and Red Bull is awesome too....

Ivelliis 04-20-2007 12:22 PM

Vodka and red bull is nice. Never tried Absynthe and Red Bull, but on it's own...haha good times.

Get a nice pint! ;)

I try to avoid Red Bull until the morning after a night of drinking. When they say "consume in moderation", they ain't kidding. A meth bender is probably easier on the ticker than a Red Bull binge..

As for Absynthe (which, until recently, i thought i had to go to Europe to experience), try a Green Fairy and make sure you watch as it's being made. Pyrotechnics and alchemistry make for a decent placebo for wormwood alcohol.

Mack_Attack 04-20-2007 04:37 PM

HArvey wallbangers. ;)

Attalus 04-20-2007 07:10 PM

Dry Beefeater martinis with an olive soaked in jalapeno juice. ;)

Blind_Prophet 04-21-2007 05:04 AM

robertthebard 04-21-2007 07:37 AM

You are a brave man...

Sir Goulum 04-21-2007 03:09 PM

Screwdrivers.. mmm...

Sir Krustin 04-21-2007 03:28 PM

Crispy Crunch: Creme de Cacao and Frangelico

toot033 04-21-2007 05:22 PM

3rd Reich - 3 individual shots of Jagger, rumpleminze and jagger.... That will get you going ( if you're evil do doubles or flip the order if you want......) Can substitute goldschlagger if you want as well. Or just plain old Kamikazes.

It has come to my attention that 10 double vodka reds and five pints doesn't make a good combination. I didn't sleep for 36 hours and shook like a herion addict with withdrawal symptoms for the majority of the period. My tort tutor was giving me funny looks throughout my tutorial. Have touched red bull since.

Sambuca Suicides and Gas Chambers are also interesting experiences.

If youre talking serious whiskeys tho Jameson's won't cut it. You want a wee Macallan if yer a whiskey noob or a Laphroaig if you're feeling more adventurous.
These may be a little rare in the states tho so Glenlivet or Glenfiddich are as good as ye may get.

Otherwise if you are inclined towards beer stay with the Czechs - they continue to make the finest beers on the planet while out drinking us Scots aswell as the Irish year after year :D

In hindsight tho this is beginning to seem like the ramblings of a habitual alcoholic - what I mean to say is that 'Its all about taste'

Drink whats fun and while you're at it try some mezcal .

Illumina Drathiran'ar 04-22-2007 01:37 AM

If God had intended Guiness and Bailey's to mix, He wouldn't have made them curdle.

These are three lovely things. Seperately.
