I just went through the entire planar prison (other than the first fight) with 4 of these things (the other one went hostile)

I just discovered Earth Elementals too. I was having a bit of a rough go of the ruined temple in the Umar Hills quest. (lots of drain, and the skeletons were hitting pretty hard.

Bring an Earth Elemental to the fight, and the whole equation changes!

skeleton warrior: *weapon ineffective*
shadow wolf: *weapon ineffective*
earth elemental: *weapon ineffective*
sir krustin: 25 damage
sir krustin: 1 damage
sir krustin: 1 damage
anamon: 20 damage
erewhon: 5 damage
erewhon: 5 damage

nalia: 6 damage
harlequin: 12 damage
skeleton warrior: death
shadow wolf: death

What about lvl 14 raise dead. Big skelingtons with 2 handed swords. Very useful thankyou very much.

I thought u had to be lvl 15 to summon warriors? But ur right though, try them hasted and with defensive harmony!

Who need summons when you have FIREBALL ?

Heard of the Spawn Spider + Web combo? ;) You might not look down on them so much then. :D

yes i have, and it does work, and i do use it. But still, i love my elementals. That combo is really only usefull when you are getting phase spiders too. They have a poison attack, sword spiders dont. I don't see them hitting often enough to do any real ammount of damage without that poison.

One spider may not seem much, but 20 plus Sword Spiders and you will begin to appreciate their high attack rate. Not to mention that Web means auto-hit. Never have Stoneskins been so rapidly removed, and enemies poked to death.

ADD] Oh, and Skeleton Warriors complement them very well, because their 95% magic resistance enable them to shrug off the Web most of the time.

Well, if you have ToB installed, try summoning Planetars! They are the best. Cleric/Mages equiped with Silver Swords, and capapble of great combat!

Worth a try!

whats a kithxx (where do i get scroll?)? and where can i get a wyvern calling scroll?

Kithix is a spider you can summon once per day, from a spider figurine.
You can find a scroll of wyvern summoning in the planar sphere.

for me its got to be nishuruu, it has help me through lots of magic battles...

Anyone tried the battle ready Carrion Crawlers? Their hold attack can be pretty useful. I like aerial servants, they only have one attack per round but damn they pack a punch. I've had one hit for 70 damage on a critical hit before! But for raw mammoth tank action, you can't beat the growl of 4 mountain bears trampling around with improved haste (6 APR each!).

where in the planar shpere do get the wyvern calling scroll, i cant find it
