T-D-C 06-07-2006 07:52 AM

I second that motion WTF??????????

Tell me this is a joke.

Bozos of Bones 06-07-2006 08:00 AM

O......kaaaay...
It's a joke. Gotta be. Otherwise, those people would be multimegaquanitgajillasizzleinumilionaires. And famous to boot!

Sever 06-07-2006 08:10 AM

It's no joke. At least, not one with a punchline. Better than average work of an activist group is my guess.

Iron Greasel 06-07-2006 11:48 AM

I'd buy one. Maybe two. Perhaps I'd buy ten and have them fight until only the strongest one remains.

Cloudbringer 06-07-2006 12:10 PM

I sincerely hope it's a joke. The whole' it's priced so you can just buy another one if the kid kills it' thing is really heartless if they are real, IMO.

It look like a chicken. Does it taste like chicken?

Bio-Genica is still developing its connections and relations with resellers while we get the various approvals needed to sell Genpets worldwide. This is why we have not yet begun our TV/Print/Radio ad campaign, as Genpets are not slated for official launch until next year.

But don’t worry, the days when you’ll be able to go into any big box store and find a small animal twist-tied into a piece of plastic are coming soon, so hold tight. We know from the mass amounts of emails we’ve received how excited you all are, and so are we.

Someone's art project.

DrowArchmage 06-07-2006 02:21 PM

It does look like a chiken, why does everything taste like chicken? Maybe the MAtrix didnt know what to make everything taste like.

I didn't see that quote that tipped you guys off. I knew once I saw the pictures of the kids lol. Check em out. It's hilarious.

Edit: Oh, and this is great:

(foul language alert)

They don't seem to realize that the guy with all of the capabilities to make one, who is aggressively trying to get them to think about the point of it (and who has a link to genpets in his sig), is even the artist behind it.

Now that's just creepy, I don't think I could buy something like that.
I don't think it's real though, I'm sure you'd see them in toy stores by now, unless they were banned from toy stores.

TheGrandSlayer 06-09-2006 12:03 AM

Can you imagine those things in toy stores? Little Timmy and his mommy go down to the KB Toys

"Mommy, whats that?"
"Its a... OH MY GOD WHAT THE @#$%! IS THAT?!"

Agreed lol

It wouldn't be really good, there would probably be a sh#t load of protests about it, being in-humane and all that.

Memnoch 06-09-2006 04:21 AM

Surely it's a wind-up?
