what is the best ring for a mage?

Ring of Acuity: gives 2 extra level 2 spells, 1 extra level 3 spell and 1 extra level 4 spell

Ring of Wizardry: gives 1 extra level 5 spell, 1 extra level 6 spell and 1 extra level 7 spell.
Note: although there are two rings of wizardry, you may only wear one of them per character.

Ring of Gaxx: AC +2, +2 all saves, +10% magic resistance, immune to disease and poison, regenerates 1hp every 3 seconds, invisibility once per day, improved haste 3 times per day.

Hmmmm? What bug? First time I heard of people getting two Rings of Acuity through a bug.

When i had two rings of wizardry i tried to put them both on Imoen, but I got a little messgae saying "You may not equip two rings of wizardry".

That be odd, I equipped two of them just fine for my Sorcerer. Way back then during my first game when I had a party.

in bg1 you could equip two rings of wizardy (Dynahyr was just nasty with 1st lvl spells)

Unfortunatly I have xp so if I don't install patches key quest figures appear busy.

This was playing in the unpatched version, i dont know if a patch fixed it though. enjoy your new bug/exploit. [img]smile.gif[/img]
