What were your favourite 80's cartoons/children's TV shows?

shadowhound 07-04-2005 06:55 AM

Oooh He-Man, He-Man :D Geez thats a blast from the past

Jorath Calar 07-05-2005 02:10 AM

T-D-C 07-05-2005 02:47 AM

I agree you are missing two of the very best!

wellard 07-05-2005 04:33 AM

Trapdoor is one of the greatest of all time, and I loved the sarcasm of danger mouse.

Can I vote transformers and TMNT as the worse

Zink Whistlefly 07-05-2005 05:34 AM

Argh! Can't believe I missed Thundercats off the list - I was a dedicated TC fan too.

Ah well we'll just have to assume that people who vote for something else are voting for TC/TF :( .

Yeah Trapdoor was something special alright, only 5 minute long episodes though! That intro music was top notch..."Don't you open that Tradoooooor! 'Cos there's something down there..." :D

He-Man was a legend, you forgot Masters of the Universe. I also put down Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Morph. And The Lion, the Witcha nd the Wardrobe, I loved that one! Bananaman just annoyed the hell out of me, dunno why.

Kakero 07-05-2005 09:12 PM

No Transformers? No GI JOE? eeeekk! :D

Also, when I was even younger, I liked "The Littles"..

And Bugs Bunny and friends... All classic.

Forgetting not Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego, of course (yes, technically came out in 1991, but I was still young enough for it to count

Bozos of Bones 07-07-2005 07:20 PM

Thundercats all the way!

Mr. Mopery 08-02-2005 06:32 AM

Justice League of America!

Anybody remember the Mon-Chi-Chis?

"Monchichi Monchichi
oh so soft and cuddly
with your thumb in your mouth you're really sweet
love to wiggle those little feet
la la la
la la la
happy happy Monchichi

(spastic child in background screaming "I LOVE YOU MONCHICHI!")

Monchichi, monchichi,
oh so soft and cuddly,
with their thumb in their mouth they're really neat,
fun to wiggle their little feet!
la la la
la la la

happy happy Monchichi"

jbird05 08-14-2005 09:09 PM

hey how come there no transformers?

Zink Whistlefly 08-15-2005 07:14 AM

Because unfortunately I was being mildly retarded when I made that list and left both Transformers and the ledgendary Thundercats (!) off the list :(

That's a nicely built site Dundee - has your friend built that? Most of the links currently seem dead though...
