I was looking through Mels Records thread and was just wondering if you guys remember the first record or cd you got. I remember getting paid in my first job and going to the record store and buying Bon Jovi's Album New Jersey... It was in 1988 and I was only 13 so cut me some slack [img]smile.gif[/img]

I didn't get a cd player until 1993 and the first cd I bought was Red Hot Chilli Pepper's - Blood Sugar sex magic and N.W.A's - Niggazforlife.

Korn - Korn, at the tender age of 14. I also went and bought an Adidas 3-stripe jacket and grew my hair long ;)

Bon Jovi's slippery when wet ;) the second was New Jersey :D

Bought with birthday money from grandparents...had my parents take me to Musicland to pick it up.

If we're being strict and have to stick with albums we bought with hard earned money, then it would be Metallica's ...And Justice For All.

Duran Duran and Ratt's Out of the Cellar, both bought at the same time. My sister bough the Footloose soundtrack that day, her first album.
