Cernd has seem to won the title of being the NPC least likely to be asked to join a party. Poor guy, but now he will get to join the "LEAST LIKELY class to be played" protangist.

For the sake of simplicity, I will leave out multiclasses and dualclasses.

Beastmaster.

Heian 08-04-2004 04:10 PM

beastmaster

Svaerdhelgon 08-04-2004 06:57 PM

beastmaster

Jorath Calar 08-04-2004 07:08 PM

I usually only play ranger fighter or Paladin, although I plan to start a game with a mage soon... when I finish BG1 with him...

But I think I'd have to be on some serious drugs to try the Jester...

Legolas 08-04-2004 08:47 PM

Enchanter. What good is a mage that can't make things go Boom? BOOM!

Rikard T'Aranaxz 08-04-2004 10:59 PM

General Mage....
Why bother with a general mage when there are obviously obsolete spellschools you could give up in favour of extra spellslots :/ .

FYI I *have* played and finished BG II as a beastmaster i would certainly recommend it because it forces you to use the Ranger in a whole differnt and very interesting way. (I ended up with i believe a shadow dragon armor and the +4 Staff which did considerable damage)

What? Oh come on, it might just be me but I love the power of sending stupid peasents into fight orcs for me :D

I said cleric, I mean why would you go for the normal cleric when you could choose cleric of "insert name here" and get those funky bonus abilities?

Legolas 08-05-2004 06:51 AM

Yeah, but the peasants just fly around in chunks, there's no Boom. And anyway, almost any mage can do that.

Although I do grant you that Xan and Tim the Enchanter are great characters.

Stratos 08-05-2004 07:36 AM

Wizard Slayer.

Sagramore 08-05-2004 01:09 PM

diviner

Dron_Cah 08-05-2004 11:56 PM

very close ot saying beast master, but i ended going with totemic druid. Too many druids, anyways, lol.

Neo the Warrior Cat 08-07-2004 12:25 PM

Shapeshifter. Only bonus is shapeshifting to werewolf/greater werewolf and for that you give up all armor. Not to mention you can't cast spells while shapeshifted.

Hivetyrant 08-11-2004 03:32 AM

Yeah, have to say Shapeshifter, to many disadvantages and they are only powerful at high levels.

I voted Beastmaster, but I lied because I have played a Beastmaster. Going into the game knowing very little about the classes many of us would pick the Beastmaster because it sounds soooo cool (think of movie or TV show) and waste many hours of our lives that we will never get back. So it is probably the easiest class to be suckered into playing and those who have tried would never pick again.

This bard kit, in the German version its called Harlekin. Should be joker or harlequin in the original. Never ever. I am serious hero, no jester.

I like to play spellcasters, so I suppose I'm a bit biased against something called a 'Wizard Slayer'.

Cloudbringer 10-13-2004 10:12 AM

Priest of Talos or shapeshifter/beastmaster. I've played as Bard, Skald, Wizard, Fighter, Cleric (helm and lathander) etc.

ilker 10-17-2004 12:08 AM

Paladin. Lawful Good is something I do not like.

Dragonshadow 10-17-2004 02:14 PM

Paladin. No way can I even pretend to be taht good.
