I like em all but my favorite is Link. He's the only character that i've ever been able to defeat three oppossing level nine cpu's all on a team against me. (Naturally they also had link.) He hits hard and fast and combo's do *alot* of damage. 60%+ with just *one* ;) I'm a smash brothers nut sue me... ;) Must get Gamecube for Christmas... [img]graemlins/1drool.gif[/img]

I'm rather partial to the, er, 'secret' character Roy. He looks cool and he gives out big beatings! That, and he was the only one I can do a consistent combo attack with.

Or maybe Pikachu, his attacks are pretty strong...

Ok so maybe I like Kirby...

I like Falco and Roy/Marth the best. They're quick and mobile and can give/receive a good amount of damage. Game & Watch and Jiggly Puff are absolute killers in large melees though. One time in a 4 person free-for-all battle with 3 lives, the guy playing Jiggly Puff and dished out ALL the KO's. That was sick. All insta-kills too :eek:

I like Kirby. He's just so darn cute! ;)

My favorite characters are Link, and Samus, coincidentaly also my favorite characters in their respective games, I've also gotten quite a bit of mileage out of Falcon, and luigi is fun for a challenge

I don't really have a favourite character, but if I had to choose it would be Link or Fox. They are both really fast.

My sister is really good with Kirby, but uses munchkin tactics, like flying into the air and turning into the rock over and over again, which is why I rarely play against her.

I really like all of the Super Smash Brothers Characters, but Link and Zelda are my two faves. [img]tongue.gif[/img] Kirby's rock attack is pretty easy to deal with actually. If he hits the ground while doing it, he's invincible to every attack *except* throws. So grab him. Smart people like to morph out before they hit the ground, but are helpless for a second or too. ;) Pikachu is fast and his thunderbolt is a lot of fun to use isn't it? Pika! [img]smile.gif[/img]

It's kinda hard to do and if you miss, it leaves you wide open, thus only the more expert players dare to be the Puff. Now what is bing? It's when Jiggly Puff lands next to someone while pressing down & B. When done correctly it knocks the opponent the heck off the screen regardless of damage! When done poorly it does nothing and Jiggly Puff falls asleep. Also in the Jiggly arsenal is a spin rolling move that also does quite a bit of wreckless damage and will generally KO opponents will more than 50% damage. Otherwise, this character is pretty bleh, but she can float and take a decent beating, so in addition to racking up lots of kills, it is also relatively hard for her to die.

Shane bats are fun! Don't you have such *fine* memories of the instant death bat combo? Boomerang+bat=death. ;) Interesting how a 5% hit can cause your immeadiate death isn't it? Btw everybody used to hunt me down when I got a bat. No matter who they were in the process of killing. And if they got the bat before me, they threw it over the edge. Samus was the first I managed to beat the game with in the 20 minute(?) time restraint to unlock one of the secret characters. So of course she is my fav.

Yeah Luigi and Ness's smash moves pack quite a punch, but their moves won't instantly kill you unless you already have a lot of damage. But you are right about Jiggly falling asleep even on successful bings. It is a small price to pay for such a powerful move [img]smile.gif[/img]

There is no surviving it unless some bizarre twist of fate occurs and the gods of Smash decide to bounce your poor helpless character off a wall and back into play. Look Jiggly Puff up on gamefaqs.com if you don't believe me. This move is sick.

I'm telling you it does *not* do instant kill. [img]tongue.gif[/img] I *know* i've come back from it repeatedly. And not with Ness or Kirby, but good old Link, who has *horrible* recovery distance. What do I need to warp over to Texas and prove it to ya? ;)

He's right darkman i have seen jiggly puff do that move plenty of times and not do instant kill, you can still get back from it. Unless your talking about it doing instant kill in smash melee and not the n64 version.

K melee is a different story since i have never played game cube. I will have to say i can't argue what i don't know. So i guess they changed the move from the n64 version.
