I don't know about in other countries, but here in the United States at least once a year, certain programs or movies are re-run.
Which ones do you all watch every year?
There are eight choices in the one list so please feel free to add any others that you know of in posts. :D

overhere they come up with a rerun of the first gremlins movie at X-mas eve, every year again. Wonder why they do that.

I got a rock........

Come to think of it, you forgot one yearly event.......

The Honeymooners marathon, I never miss it.

None of them - but then again, I don't live in USA

and I avoid our reruns/X-mas specials like the plaque ;)

Oh, We're off to see the Wizard; The wonderful Wizard of Oz!!!!! I always watch that with my little cousins at christmas!

I don't watch it, but its on every damn year.

Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer gets annoying after the 1st two times. But its always on. Year after year after year. **sigh**

A Christmas story!

Ladyzekke 06-16-2002 08:23 PM

Yes was Zed said LOL. A Christmas Story I always watch every year, it is a classic that always makes me laugh no matter how many times I've seen it! :D

Have you two seen the sequel to "A Christmas Story"?
Its called "It Runs In The Family" (I think). :D

Ladyzekke 06-18-2002 06:25 PM

No way! There is a sequel? Does it have the same actors and actresses? Around what year was it made, soon after the first or several years after or recently? Have I asked enough questions LOL? :D

Sir Goulum 06-18-2002 06:59 PM

Yes way! Yes! Yes! I dunno but I'd guess soon after-to-several years after, but not many. I dunno, have you?! :D

It even has all the Bumpases lol. Look fot the title "It Runs in the Family", I am pretty sure that's it.

Ladyzekke 06-20-2002 07:58 PM

Cool! Alrighty then, thanks Moni! I think this weekend I'll look for it in the video stores, gonna be in the mid-90s, too hot for outside, sounds like a good mid-day AC movie kinda scenario to me :D

My favorite part in the Christmas Story movie is when the dogs eat the turkey, and go running out the door, and the dad curses them, and I swear somewhere in all that flailing gibberish he says "pompous bastards" LOL! That just really gets to me, cause LOL, how can some ol hungry hound dog possibly be "pompous" LOL?! It really exaggerates how mad he is, he doesn't even make sense, just spews out what comes into his head LOL! Brilliant ! :D

Moni 06-21-2002 12:09 AM

Well you are bound to love the sequel then LOL!
I hope you find it and if it isn't available on video, keep an eye on your local cable listings...I see it in the menu every three months or so.

sorry cant get past the first question cause i dont watch any of those. besides you forgot the most important christmas one of all time.and it gets shown the most. "miracle on 34th street" or maybe it was one of the next questions not sure.

Grojlach 07-06-2002 08:34 PM

You forgot the "none" option... Probably a cultural thing. I doubt most of these get shown on Dutch TV on a yearly basis.

My really bad bad! Sorry about that! Its a great movie!

Grojlach,
Another bad for not including a "none" option! My apologies to all non-US residents!
