I personnally haven't given it much tought. However, I would probably go for the remote control. Though very usefull, it is very damaging to one's health. It promotes potato couches... bad, very bad.

yea ... and I believe that Einstein said he would only help if his work was used for peace .... I think they kind of perverted that deal a bit .... even though right after they used it , it kind of forced a peace .... the whole thing just kinda freaks me out ....

Hmm, at least for my list I'd add pagers and possibly cell phones. Alarm clocls are evil too. All right, all right, they have a purpose, but those nasty ringy ones were invented by an experienced torturer. What about landfills? Were they such a great idea? And what about thongs? Yes, I know, various people (like men, for instance) like looking at them, but... have you worn one????? What logical underwear-type purpose do they serve??? And beware, ye thong-lovers out there, one of these days you will see a granny in a thong, and you may change your mind on the greatness of this invention. Fair warning!!!!!

I would say that all weapony would be the worst invention but we wouldn't be whrer we are today with out it, so I have to go for FASHION expellicy the really stuiped ones like skirts and trouses at the same time. oh boy was that dumb.

Well I dunno what the world's worst invention is, but I work for a patent law office, and we have this one invention, an old one that FAILED miserably years ago, yet I guess before I came to work there, someone decided to install his "sample invention" into our bathroom. It is a toilet paper roll holder. Is made of metal/chrome? It is one big spring about an inch and a half wide. The two ends have these raised sections that are supposed to fit into the shaped slots on the holder. But it being all chromey and springy and slippery, you think you have a new roll nice and secure in the holder, then about 10 seconds later the entire roll holder (with TP roll) goes flying forward, hitting the far bathroom wall, lands a good 4 feet from you. What a shite invention!!! Although (cough!) I have to say that it has had its uses in the past. Like when we had this one attorney temporarily working in our office that was a huge butthole, mean as a snake to everyone, even the 75 year old secretary who is extremely quiet and sweet. He didn't know about the toilet paper holder. So I kinda set it so it wasn't EXACTLY fitted into the slot one day on purpose. Worked like a charm, he went into the bathroom, and after about 15 or so seconds I heard the telltale "clang" of the metal hitting the wall LOL! I know... I'm bad. by the way, a solar powered flash light is a great idea if the battery is charged while in the sun, so then you can use it at night.

And parking meters don't have to be electronic at all!!!
