Out of these options, what type of woman do you thnk would be the most attractive?

Attractiveness isn't based on what colour hair or eyes, but on the size ratio of hips, waist and upper torso including breasts.

I second that opinion. Also the shape of the eye is far more important that the colour. I am personally partial to almond shaped eyes. And long hair whatever the colour is.

Just kidding ;) Well, only half kidding. I tend to notice posture, bearing and fluid movement more oft than not. (Whilst putting on a pretty bloody good impression of not noticing, mind!) Women who can dance really catch my attention.

Apart from that, there's no one feature that really does stuff to me. The particulars of hair, eyes, skin etc generally go unnoticed unless there's something striking there (ie. unusually light, bright blue or green eyes). Am i shallow? [img]graemlins/1ponder.gif[/img]

This quiz is immaterial, really. Attractiveness is based upon too many things to count.

The ratio thing is a big one typically pointed out, but physical mannerisms greatly impact a person's attractiveness (both in men and women). Beyond that, I'd say facial shape, skin tone, and even the way their clothes fit is more important than hair color/eye color.

Hmm, not only is brunette and blue eyes missing it seems a bit slanted if you check the last option out...where's the 'hot guy' option? ;)

Just for the record, my husband has brown hair and gorgeous blue/hazel eyes! :D

I opted for green-eyed blondes... But the curves have gotta be there!

Amen! That's a lovely combo, ice blue eyes and deep brunette hair. DROOL!

Personally, I didn't vote because I tend to look at the whole person (even if we're just talking "looks only"), and it's the totality of the appearance that works to drive my interests... um.... higher, let's say. I do tend to prefer brunettes, but that's not a um... hard and fast rule. As for eye color, I prefer contrast to the hair color, but all eyes are so unique that it's just hard to say. You also would have to account for those odd combinations of combined colors, and the blue/green mix like I have that is often called "hazel" on drivers' licenses.

I'm attracted to men who have coherent, intelligent, mature, fully-formed thoughts, opinions, and topics of conversation.

I expected you to veto this entire thread Illumina. Besides that you are right - physical attraction is a minor thing. I think you deliberately overlook it a bit to make a point, but it is not my place to tell.

EDIT: Read Timbers elaboration below. Essentially I meant that there are so many attractive women around that physical attraction cannot be the most important criteria. Finding a woman who you feel compatible with is much much harder. I have yet to succeed myself. That is what I meant by "minor".

Intellectual attraction is a thing, but not the only thing. I feel I've found my soul mate -- but had I not been attracted to her, she would not have been my soul mate. Heck, she wouldn't have even gotten the chance.

I know that many women differ, and I realize some men may differ, but if guys are honest you will discover that some physical attraction is *key* for most of us -- certainly not a "minor thing." We may like mature thoughts and refined conversation, but we don't want to bed them.

I agree with Timber, physical attraction is THE most important thing for 99 out of a 100 guys.

While I didn't vote in the poll because it's um, not good [img]graemlins/heee.gif[/img] [img]graemlins/angel.gif[/img] , I agree with Timber that while physical attraction isn't everything, it isn't nothing either. I recently went out with a guy who I have a lot in common with, had had good conversations with, and who really should have totally been 'my type', but I wasn't physically attracted to him at all. He wasn't ugly (although he did have bad hair - there's no excuse for that! [img]graemlins/idontagreeatall.gif[/img] ) but I had no sexual interest in him whatsoever and couldn't see that changing - so I didn't go out with him again.

I don't think I could say exactly who I'm attracted to because it's such a subjective and individual thing - if there were two guys with similar macro characteristics I could be easily be attracted to one and not the other. There are some things that I've always not been a fan of - like chin dimples - but then again, on certain guys they can look very cool.

Point taken. Despite my efforts there are still some errors I continuously make in English. That is one of them. Among the others are a weird tendency to mix up "where" and "were" and spelling "dg" as "gd". As I am pretty good at English this is obviously quite scarring. I'm trying to rectify the problem, but perhaps I am not trying hard enough?

No one mentioned scent. I'm not talking stinky BO, but that underling..mmmmmmm. My guy just has this something and I can't enough of it. I love to snuggle up and just breathe him in. It also helped that he had dark hair and deep brown eyes and is taller than me...but there's gotta me more to hold my interest.

I'm alergic to cologne and perfume so that's not it. LOL

Actually it is called sweat. Fresh sweat mind you. Male sweat contains pheromones and are as such a known aphrodisiac. Doesn't stay fresh for long though. If it doesn't wear him down try to send him out to chop some firewood just before you snuggle. (This is also why we have hair in the armpits - to assist in dispersal of these).
