Russia’s Biggest Spammer Brutally Murdered in Apartment
Vardan Kushnir, notorious for sending spam to each and every citizen of Russia who appeared to have an e-mail, was found dead in his Moscow apartment on Sunday, Interfax reported Monday. He died after suffering repeated blows to the head. Sounds justified to me... |
Boy, i hope someone bashed his head in with an enlarged penis. :D
|
hehe... I normally don't find murders amusing (oh really? ) but this one... :D

Hm... Methinks they've set a precedent. Imagine a spammer murder here. How on earth could you find an unbiased jury?
|
People who don't own computers because they are ethicaly and moraly wrong, oh wait..
Yea I see the problem. |
Whatever way I look at it, it's still a goddamn murder, so I can't find it in myself to be happy about this. Then again, I haven't been much of a target to spam.
Oh well, perhaps I've watched a bit too much anime. ;) |
Personally, I'm a bit torn. I do despise spam, but I don't know if I despise it enough to commit murder.
On the other hand, the murder may be unrelated to his spamming activities... |
One down, 6000000 more to go

Do not kill the spammers!!! Murder is wrong.
Instead, duct-tape them to their chairs and force them to watch as you take their computer apart piece by piece, and auction off the parts for charity. :D |
Save me some of those parts will ya'? I'm wanting to build a super gamer rig...
|
Hmm, I guess that makes it cold meat!
|
Let us hope that this encourages more people to murder spammers.

Well, I suppose he had it coming...but then I DO think murder, unless self-defense is wrong in any other form... |

Somehow this gives me a deep satisfaction inside.

But whatever rocks your socks |
It seems these are desperate times, but that's no excuse to be killing people. (Wake up people!..)
No my friends, must be fought with . That idea about the phone calls was good. Pitty they didn't increase the scale of the operation to a level that he couldn't possibly ignore. Maybe then he'd still be alive... [edit: Assuming, of course, that he wasn't involved in something dodgy.] [ 07-26-2005, 07:24 AM: Message edited by: Sever ] |
I like Firestormalpha's idea. ;) Either take the pc apart and sell of or the parts or make him watch all that viagra/cialis/enlarge this or that and cheap Rolex spam on his own machine for weeks on end without respite.

There was a spammer in the US a few years back that went on slashdot and bragged about how much spam he sent and how much $ he made, they literally buried him in junk mail, tracked his IP address to his house and signed him up for every mailing list they could find, something to the tune of about 1 ton of mail every day.
|
I hope this murder gets lots of press, and can be proven that his spamming activity was the cause. Maybe it will weed out a few of those cruddy little blighters. Failing that, we can probably see a few more of these 'incidents' happening in the future as some really tetchy people go and vent their wrath on the scum of the earth.
It might sound wrong to say this, but I have more sympathy for the guy who committed murder than the guy who spams countless emails. Karma is a bitch. |

Sounds like suicide to me. That's my verdict and I'm sticking to it...

from SpamCop newsgroup:
Before you start to wonder if SpamAssassin really does what it says on the tin, apparently, there has been a progress with the investigation. It appears that this accident has nothing to do with spamming, but is rather an ordinary robbery: the guy met some girls, brought them home, was drugged by them, their accomplices then came, killed the guy (who was, probably, given an insufficient dosage - and was waking up at that point), took the valuables and left. The russian speaking internet community though is quite astir, since this guy was notorious. |
