Yes.
|
Yea, but he'd need to have a strongish personality to pull it off well.
|
Yes. A friend of mine has one that looks really like that. It's cool
|
Isn't that thing meant to keep a tea pot warm?
|
Sadly, I've seen several, Memmy. A guy would wear it, though if he should is another matter entirely. ;)
|
Yes a guy would .... wear it skiing.
|
Could wear? Yes.
Should wear? Prolly NOT! |
I'd wear it, but I don't think I count.

The only people that wear them around here are the troubled, identity-seeking teenagers that are looking for a new way to stand out from everybody else.
Nobody outside of teenagers have been seen in my area with them. I have only seen boys wear them, not girls. |

Beanies like that aren't gangsta, they're board wear, mainly snow wear, but the fashions cross over.

You know, you could tie the strings together, turn it upside down and use it as a quaint little woolen handbag....just a thought. |
More people wear them than you think. Whoever produced that hat stole it from the Andean Highlands and surrounding region.
A google image search for 'Quechua' reveals a variety of hats like that. Most are brighter though. To a lesser extent, 'Aymara', another Andean group, wears them too. My anthropology professor, who is from thereabouts, wore one lol. It's all about culture, and maybe warmth. Note that almost everyone wearing one has some pretty impressive mountains behind them. |

LOL Charlie...note that some of the Aymara are wearing Bowler hats. Perhaps there's a hat schism we don't know about yet :D
|
Hat's are cool man
*time for a game of guess that quote* |
Only if it's really cold.
|
Never liked those hats, but yeah I've seen plenty of guys wearing them. I prefer normal beanies.
|
I prefer normal beanies too, but yes it's acceptable.
I agree, it's mainly a skate/snow board wear thing. Plus, depends totally on what else your wearing at the time. You could end up looking cool, but then again, you could end up looking like a prick! |
I have one, but it's much, much more manlier. Cause we all know how manly it is already.
EDIT: Sig Test... [ 07-02-2005, 01:26 PM: Message edited by: Dalamar Stormcrow ] |
Still too big, Dalamar. Make the width smaller.
|
Well, I wouldn't wear myself, but I've seen other guys wearing hats like that.
|
Isn't it a bit warm for that hat in the US Memsy? :D
I also prefer normal beanies, but it is wearable. Not sure about the colour myself... |
Do you ever go by the name of Poindexter or Ruffio? If so Wear it everywhere if not only wear it in very cold weather. In cold weather like "0" deg snowy or Icy weather at 10,000 ft on the sky slopes I would kill to have one!! Any other time It would be hanging on the hat rack. That is unless people call you by the first two pet names I listed then, wear it always never take it off. :D lol TCB
P.S. whom ever made it did an excellent job. |

I only noticed it because that bloke in Jamiroquai uses it. :D |
