It's about time I'd say. After my graduation on Sunday, high school will officially be over with, and it'll be off to college to study Psychiatry in the fall. Everyone's acting like it's heart breaking, I don't see why, nearly everyone that's going to college is going to the same place.
Well, two days to go, cheers guys :D |
oh sure, Put it in the face of all the people who still have to go to school.
just kidding, Congrats! and enjoy the summer with no high school crap to deal with. |
Ah wittle Gangy's finally finished schooly-wooly, now he gets to be a wittle 1st year at university :D
on a more serious note: Eh? Psychiatry? I thought you were gonna do computer science or something? Psychiatry is for people who have no maths, logic, programming or numeracy skills |
Congratulations Gangrell!

One...year...left...*collapses*
I wish I were you, Gangrell. |

It's so true that youth is wasted on the young (lucky I realised this while I'm still young ) stay in education as long as you can, like me :D |
And never leave home. Take the gravy train the whole way. ;)

The freedomness is so tempting though! ;) |
Of course, if you find a job you love with enough pay (unlikely unfortunately) then you'll be glad you left education, but I'm stayin a student ALAP! :D
|
Do you mean after university or during?

Besides, I would go into computers, but the university I'm going to isn't exactly computer swavy, the vocational school I graduated from has a higher level of computer classes than it does. Besides, getting a Ph.D. in psychiatry provides for a more stable career I think. Btw, I am staying home, college is completely covered and I don't feel like living in a shite dorm. Drunken idiots replacing the sounds of a loud maccaw waking me up instead isn't much of an improvement  |
I'm nearly finished too. Three exams to go. I hope I'll be doing medicine next year at uni. still have to wait nearly 3 weeks for my marks now.
|
:D !!Finished College yesterday!! :D
Spent the day from 11 o'clock celebrating. Now of to uni for 4 years to avoid getting a job for as long as humanly possible. (Well, if i pass these exams...) In the UK we mostly go to unis in different parts of the country, so we have to move away. My nearest one is 50 miles, but that's a bit extreme, I live at the end of the country. Oh, snd 1 exam down, 13 to go... [ 05-28-2005, 04:54 AM: Message edited by: Aragorn1 ] |
Well I have some more graduation exams, but there are no more classes and that's a big plus! I'll be officially over in a month, but I don't feel I have a school anymore, just some building I'll have to go to three or four more times

You guys have dorms there at uni? That sucks, in the UK everyone in university halls of residence has their own room, only the cheapest rooms are shared with one other person. My room's got ensuite shower etc. too :D |
Quote:
Is that right, your own room? Ensuite shower and the like too? Tell me, is there anyone to wipe your arse while you're at it? :D |
Vaskez probably has the whole University following him, cleaning after him.
|
WTF are you lot on about? PhD students get funding, so I can afford the ensuite room. I paid my dues by staying at home during my undergrad days and saving loads of money there

Yeah, I spoke to your employment agency and this summer you're the temp assigned to whiping my ass :D

Well, seeing as there's a thread about it, I finish uni on friday! :D
6 exams down, 2 left! Huzzah! [ 05-28-2005, 02:13 PM: Message edited by: shamrock_uk ] |

unlucky, that'd be whipping, nice try though.
The h got in there as a typo, if you were smart you'd realise I was continuing from your comment about wiping. nm |

Fool, you couldn't be witty if they asked ya with what letter to begin the word to described you: tool

Congrats Gangrell and to those also finishing their school careers! :D
I don't know with you guys, but now I am a Senior in College. The feeling is odd because no one is on top of you and after this we can work our butts off already (Although my plan is to take up law afterwards)! I don't want for school to end just yet but it will soon enough... In high school I was excited to be in college. Now that I am going to be graduating it is a different feeling... Of course just live your school careers doing everything! Wehehehe :D |
