Possibly one of the funniest links this year...

http://webpages.charter.net/mindwerks/ROFLSTARWARS.wmv

Its totally office safe (but someone will ask why you are laughing). It needs to be played loud enough to hear what everyone is saying though, and in an office, that might require earbuds...

T-D-C 05-27-2005 09:30 AM

LOL I'm laughing my ass of here.

That was great!

Jorath Calar 05-27-2005 10:19 AM

I AM YOUR FATHER!!!

:D :D :D

Holy hell that was funny...

Larry_OHF 05-27-2005 10:37 AM

That was well worth sharing. Gracias!

Bozos of Bones 05-27-2005 10:43 AM

That Vulcan giving them the finger at the end is one of best images I have ever seen! ROFLMAO! Thanks fo sharing this!

RevRuby 05-27-2005 11:06 AM

too much, it was just too much! the kids think i'm nuts

Jani 05-27-2005 11:58 AM

OMG! I newer thought that I would have respect for Spock=D

Vaskez 05-27-2005 01:03 PM

Haha, that was pretty good those damn star wars geeks need to fill their lives with something meaningful methinks

However, I'm surprised no one said to the guy with the dog puppet: "Well I'm not the one with a f***in dog puppet on my hand doing fake eastern european (or whatever) accents following star wars geeks around", that's what I would've said :D :D

The spock guy looked even more ridiculous - so what you guys are saying is that all it takes to get your respect, despite looking like a fool, is to flip the bird at star wars fans?

Simple flipping of the bird to SW fans is nothing. But doing it alone to a few hundred restless, sun-baked fanatics is a feat that deserves respect. :D

Lord 05-30-2005 01:38 PM

hahaha that was hilarious. i've seen clips of that before though.

Q'alooaith 05-30-2005 02:14 PM

Laughed my ass off the first time I saw this, wonder if he'll do it again for Revenge of the Sith.

Stratos 05-30-2005 04:34 PM

Heh, I remember this clip. It shows well why I don't want to go a Star Wars opening night. :D

so true... in any event, that was *really* funny.

RSinton 05-31-2005 01:18 AM

Wow, that is good, it really embodies the fanaticism of star wars, that woman who dragged her kid into the whole mess? I'm curious to know if that little girl even wanted to be there, I know I would have been grumpy if I were that age and dressed up in a some jawa costume... oh wait, that's what I went to halloween one year as. At any rate, spock was priceless, and as for the LOTR fellow, he struck me as the most goofy of them all, just goes to show that it takes all kinds in this world.

Aragorn1 05-31-2005 07:57 AM

"Which one of these calls oyu mum to pick you up?"

HEHEEHEE :D

Bungleau 05-31-2005 09:23 AM

Nice... and definitely good with headphones :D

She's not a jawa, jawas are the short ones with the creepy illuminated eyes.

Re: Wizards at Burger King:

To get that flame broiled flavor, of course! I'm just wondering whether they would use Flare, Burning Hands, Flaming Arrow, or Fireball?

(if you said fireball, how would you get the cow to stand still...?)

krunchyfrogg 05-31-2005 06:01 PM

LOL! That was priceless!

Vaskez 05-31-2005 10:58 PM

I was half expecting that storm trooper mask to be concealing Gangrell or Hivetyrant or even Memnoch :D :D

Sorry for the thread necro, but I want to know if anybody has a mirror to download this from? This link doesn't work anymore.

Dreamer128 07-31-2005 11:41 AM

Just type 'ROFLSTARWARS.wmv' in the Google search bar and you should get a number of mirrors.

Edit: ok, it doesn't. My bad. I did come across this link though: "http://gamefiles.blueyonder.co.uk/blueyondergames/trailers/ROFL.STARWARS.NERDS.wmv" . Should be the file you are looking for.

Actually, this one covers the premiere of Attack of the Clones, so it's three years old already. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a thread about this back then.
Regardless, I still liked it. Sometimes Triumph tends to get really stale (pretty much every time he uses the catchphrase '...for me to poop on' more than twice in one 'report'), but this one is still funny.
