Which song made you either want to punch a guy in the face hard, or actually do so?
I humbly nominate Links 2-3-4 by Rammstein, holy crap, adrenaline full! |
A song by a guy trying to bust your chops infront of your girlfriend, other than that, can't think of any

Agent Bulldogg - Förrädare
Makes me jump and shiver with exitement when I hear it |
Can't say I've ever wanted to punch someone over a song.
This is pretty infuriating though, don't press the link unless you want to be singing it all day. http://www.albinoblacksheep.com/flash/llama.php |
Well I don't usually punch someone in the face unless they hit first (and then I don't need music ;) ) but sometimes I use music to be ready for sports
Children of Bodom - You're better off dead Children of Bodom - Hate crew deathroll Children of Bodom - Black Widow I really like those. But basically any song with good drums will qualify, especially double bass and sometimes blastbeats when it's on internet radio [ 05-25-2005, 06:23 AM: Message edited by: philip ] |
Limp Bizkit's Break Stuff and Linkin Park's Hit The Floor.
Before every rowing regatta I tended (don't do that anymore) to listen to these two songs just to get myself agressive. Fred's lyrics in Break Stuff are just super when it comes to that: It's just one of those days When you don't wanna wake up Everything is f*cked, everybody sucks You really don't know why But you wanna justify Ripping someone's head off! [...] The good thing about Hit The Floor is the beginning of the song with only the guitar playing and then everything falling in. |

Yeah viking metal rocks I like einherjer a lot. And at times amon amarth is cool too.
And for the more folky stuff bands like Finntroll and Equilibrium and Turisas [ 05-25-2005, 11:02 AM: Message edited by: philip ] |

So yeah, I nominate Rammstein - Der Meister. Fastest pulsating riff ever. Oh! Just remebered! Can't forget Du Hast! :D |
Wintersun has a few good songs too, like winter madness, battle against time and beautiful death.
|
Before EVERY boxing match- Grand Champ: DMX
WHERE THE HOOD AT MOTHER-HUGGER!!! |
"It's A Small World After All"
|
lol, anytime I hear one of those frikken Jamster mobile adds I want to find the people who made them and do the most evil painfull things to them
Other than that, Du Hast would definantly get me pumped up ;) |
When you first hear Twista - Kill Us All, you can feel the adrenaline pumping through you (especially if you've never heard a Twista song before) :D
|
For me lately, since I bought a new Rage Against the Machine CD, it would have to be Killing In The Name Of. That song really gets me all kinds of pissed off LOL, but in a good way. :D Something about that rockin beat and funky guitar behind the violence that is the singer LOL.
Now you do what they told ya Now you do what they told ya **** you I won't do what you tell me **** you I won't do what you tell me! Oh, and Charlie, that link was... was... I don't even know what to comment LOL, cept for, Llama, yeah.... (for those of you who dont know that is the words to the crazy frog.) [ 05-26-2005, 06:31 AM: Message edited by: Azeral ] |
I heard the guys who originally created the car thing, the insanity test, sold the rights to do whole crazy frog thing. I hate it so much. It was better on the insanity test. I heard they later apologized publically for it.
EDIT: Oh, and for the song. I'd have to say either Mein Tiel by Rammstein, St. Anger by Metallica (Hush don't flame me, I like the St. Anger song!), Keine Lust by Rammstein (A song about laziness...), or maybe Counting Bodies Like Sheep To the Rhythm of the War Drums by A Perfect Circle, Passive by A Perfect Circle is good... I can't just listen to ONE song to get myself pumped up. [ 05-29-2005, 03:59 AM: Message edited by: SomeGuy ] |
Queens of the Stone Age - Six Shooter. A vicious one minute adrenaline over-kill. Even the song You Think I Ain't Worth A Dollar, But I Feel Like A Millionaire on the same album isn't as combat-oriented. ;) The lyrics other than 'shoot' and 'pow' are the following:
Two glass eyes I'll f**kin tell you lies I'm on the side of the road You won't f**kin die [..] F**k this road Well, f**k you too I'll f**kin kill your best friend What you f**kin gonna do That's just evil. |

All these bands are soft core compared to...
Post Human, by The Shizit... In fact, any Shizit song would work. My personal fav is Econobeing. <tt><font size="-1"> State your number - State your function There is only one purpose - For which you exist "Can you ever be rich enough?" - We are at the mercy of the sheep And when there is no air to breathe - We'll coat our lungs with dollar bills This rhythm can beat down oppression! This is the sound of empowerment! I scream for the future! What will be my function today? RESISTANCE! I fight for a dream And I dream of a f***ing fight Cut that sh** I won't consent - To the social control And I won't consent - To the rape of the soil So no longer look at me - As a cog in the machine In a world with no choices - I've chosen to be free</tt></font> |
Meshuggah - Future Breed Machine

I agree about the Crazy Frog. I hate the Crazy Frog, Tweety the singing bird, the dragon, I just hate them all. Jamster are so evil! :@ Why would anyone want their mobile to do THAT when they get a call? [ 05-31-2005, 08:23 AM: Message edited by: Ivelliis ] |
I agree with Gnarf - Meshuggah is good to wake up to, especially 'I' - goes for 20 minutes. That's about how long it takes me to gain consciousness after being asleep. And I also agree with Hivetyrant - If I could strangle the life out of the creators of Jamster, Yippi (or Jippi or whatever the hell it is) and that stupid one with the crappily animated dog. ERRRRRRRRGGHHH....
But to say what songs do it for me, to get me really pumped... Probably: 'My Last Serenade' - Killswitch Engage, 'Territory' - Sepultura 'March of the Pigs' - Nine Inch Nails 'Progenies of the Great Apocalypse' - Dimmu Borgir 'Pig Latin' - Fantomas 'Pet' - A Perfect Circle 'God Hates A Coward' - Tomahawk 'Aenima' - Tool 'Blind' - KoRn 'The Power of I and I' - Shadows Fall 'Killing In The Name' - Rage Against The Machine Ahhh.. that'll do nicely. There are more but I forget them now. I'll put 'em in later. P.S ladyzekke: That CD you bought, (self titled), was RATM's first (and I say best). Look around for others like 'Evil Empire' and 'The Battle of Los Angeles'. They also released a cover CD, 'Renegades' it has some good stuff, but it isn't what you'd expect for RATM's last album. After that, Zach de la Rocha (vocals) went AWOL as far as I can tell, and Timmy Commerford (drums) Brad Wilk (bass) nad Tom Morello (guitar) joined up with that dude from Soungarden to make Audioslave. I'm not a fan, except for 'cochise', because it's kinda funky for the verses, then rocky for the chorus. Soundgarden were good, 'nothing to say' was their best, RATM were 'the mad notes' but when put together you get a bunch of bland sounding rock tunes. Unfortunate really. |
Horsimus - I also have RATM's Evil Empire, Renegades and Battle of Los Angeles. :D I think BOLA to me was the best, although Killing In The Name of to me right now is favorite RATM. :D
|
Wait... is RATM Rage Against the Machine? Or Right At This Moment? :D

RATM is Rage Against The Machine only. Thank you.

I don't know if they necessarily get the killer instinct going on, but..
Disturbed: "Liberate" and "Down with the Sickness". "Devour" is pretty good too Korn: "Freak on a leash" Rammstein is always good, aswell ;) |
All my mates were into Disturbd (thats how they have it) for a while, but that bit in 'Down with the sickness' where he says all that crap about his mother hitting him was a major turn off.
There were much better songs they could have stuck on the end of Dawn of the Dead (good movie). |
