This is a modified reminder that I've posted before in reply to someone asking "can we spam the cafe". It still holds true, so I'm going to repeat it periodically for anyone who hasn't seen it.

Read the first post of the thread, it's NOT a spam zone. If you want to discuss you grades, a problem with a teacher,the weather, your neighbor's new car etc.....etc.. (real life conversations) this is the place. I don't mind a SMALL amount of spam but when the Cafe gets to be 8 pages in one day and it's all one liner pure spam, I have to ask people not to do it because most of the members who would come to talk about their day or things that they want advice or sympathy or cheers on, will not post in that atmosphere. I want you to be comfy here, but not at the expense of other members.

So the answer is NO, I don't want to see page after page of roleplay spam or one liner spamfests that could be done on msn or aim etc. because our goal is to TALK WITH one another , not fill up a cafe in five hours. ;)

First post, and my first time getting the first post too, better add a bit more ;)

All's went well so far today, bit boring though, but only 3 more days left at school! Woo hoo!

Got told I have a GCSE Maths Exam at the end of June - not good, but I'll try my best!

My work experience got cancelled! I was supposed to go to a good leisure centre but somehow it fell though. The teacher tried to make me do some kind of office work, but if I want to be bored out of my head and not get paid I'd rather come to school ;)

My friends mum might be able to get me a place at college (to work for work experience) helping maintain the computers for the campus, etc.

Hows things with everyone else?

Too bad about them cancelling your work on you. I hope you can get that other position as it never hurts to have a little experience when you finally hit the world of paychecks and bosses!

Had exam dutch today and it was really hard. Looking at the answers I think I might just have gathered enough points though [img]smile.gif[/img] The only goal I had was getting a 6 on my final list.

Had chemistry yesterday. Could have gone better too but I think I have high enough mark for it too to still have 8 average so that's fine.

I hope so too Cloudy - I would have done the office work, but my mum (who works in an office) said I would be bored senseless. She would rather be not do any at all than be bored for a week.

I was trying to make them let me stay off school for the week. My work experience can be gaming all week ;)

My mum finally got in touch with Apple about my broken iPod. They are sending a box in 2 to 3 days. Then I put all the stuff in the box, send it back, and hopefully it gets fixed or I get a new iPod!

I miss listening to my songs on the go *sigh*

Well I'm off to play WoW and avoid doing my homework, ttyl all!

Hope I'll pass too cause Dutch was the only subject I have to worry about. For the other subjects it's kind of hard to fail luckily. Though I want to study medicines so I need my marks as high as possible.

English thursday. Shouldn't be too hard. Then only fun subjects (maths, bio and physics) and ancient Greek but that's not really important for my average for medicines.

Good evning guys. I just realised that I haven't posted on IW for a long long time. Anyway shcool is coming to it's end. I have a sprained ankle but it's getting better. I still have some exams (3 I think) to pass and I am finished.

Bah, I have my final essay to finish... I haven't finished it completely, and right now I'm basically trying to bluff a bit because I'm all out of ideas. And it should be handed in tomorrow. Thankfully they didn't say what time, so I'm guessing they'll get my essay tomorrow at 11:59 pm. :D

I have a free period at school... in which I was planning to do my Japanese hwk. That fell through, with my Japanese stuff at home... D'oh!

Got another dragon in Sacred tonight! Not as big as the other one I killed though. But I had to reload and lure all the skellies and such to kill first, as if you don't, as you can see from my screenshot, you end up getting surrounded and screwed LOL. [img]graemlins/hehe.gif[/img]

Is this a scam or no? Looks fairly authentic, but that could just mean that this is a talented scam artist.

I'm thinking a scam, just checked the address that the "click here for confirmation of your account" link it goes to (http://bocephus.net/sohoadmin/progra...e_to_Maui-aqua... the address doesn't show beyond that, but It also doesn't leave much doubt for me.

Wendy, i killed that dragon from a distance, with meteorstorms and stuff, it didn't stand a chance. Dragons are fairly easy to kill in Sacred, they're sloooooow and stupid. :D

Anyone watching the CL finals tonight ? It's an insane match, Milan had a 3-0 halftime lead, but within 15 minutes in the second half, Liverpool managed to score 3 times, so now it's a 3-3 tie.

I don't have any meteorstorms Johnny. Mostly I level up my combat moves, because I prefer this time around to kill everything up close and personal LOL. Dragons are not easy for me LOL. Not impossibly hard either though, just takes some time to get those HPs down!

I don't really play any games though nowadays, and if I do it's old ones. Ah well, guess it'll have to wait till I get a new PC maybe in a year or so...

It's a lot of ups and downs again on my end, every few minutes IW goes down for me, and then a few minutes later it's back up again. This has been going on for the past two days again. Is it just me or are others having the same thing ?

How is it possible that it's fine for one person, and down for others ?

It's been absolutely ridiculous tonight. Read a thread...forums die. Wait X amount of time...forums return. Read another thread...forums die. Wait X amount of time.... Irritating as hell, particularly if answering a thread. Copying before posting is now a necessity due to the erratic nature of the boards. This problem has been going on well over a year.

I seem to miss the problem, I haven't really had it in months now. Been fine.

Well, i do, and apparently i'm not alone in this. Like Charlie said, this is getting ridiculous. I knew it couldn't be just me, since every other site i visit works fine, IW is the only site where this happens, over and over and over again. :rolleyes:

What browser are all of you guys using? Probably has nothing to do with it, but it would be interesting.

IE here, but i don't think that has anything to do with it. It's not something that happens constantly. IW has been fine for a while now for me, but for the last two days it's jojoing again.

Try switching to Firefox, johnny. I used to get those constantly with IE but since I switched there's been nothing. And besides, Firefox is faster. ;)

This is the worst I've ever known it, I've lost contact around 20 times tonight. So from the last post I made until this post the forums have been dead. Everything else is ok, main page and the ironworks network pages...all ok.....forums...kaput. I can use the same browser to visit other forums or sites, I know for a fact the problem isn't my end.

If you check the time of my last post and convert to GMT, you'll see how rapidly I lost contact from this screenshot.

It really is beyond a joke. These forums are, without exception, the most erratic and unreliable I've ever come across. That's not a criticism, it's an observation.

Well let's see if the forums have died again in the time it's taken for me to write this post.

I've been away most of that time admittedly, but the problem has been persistant since my return a few weeks back. Maybe only once or twice a day but seemingly getting steadily worse.
