Fourteen minutes???? That's freaking insane.
It'd have to have some mods and plugins going, surely! That ruddy game took me over a month (including Bloodmoon and Tribunal) of fairly solid gaming. But I reckon if it didn't freeze and crash so many times, I might have chopped it down to three or four weeks or so. Actually the more I think about it, since Morrowind's main quests seemed quite finisable without having done even half of the possible subquests, it doesn't seem that implausible. It just reeks of plain wrongness! :D That site has come a long way, I can remember when it had only a couple of games, the first of which was Quake. No need to put in spoilertags, only completely insane people would play it that way. I mean what's the use of even buying the game if all you gonna do is race to the end ?
|
Not insane, people will do it just to see if it's can be done.
CerebroDragon, It can be done. I've did it before. But not 14 minutes. S P O I L E R ; ; ; ; ; You just need keening and sunder. And off you go to final dungeon to fnish the game. [ 05-03-2005, 04:08 AM: Message edited by: Kakero ] |
I wonder, how often he finished the game before he found out this extreme shortcut.

It took me 14 minutes to get off the ship at the start

That is pretty crazy. Just goes to show how clever game makers are today.
|
And how clever game players are too
Would one of you Morrowind geniuses mind explaining which potions he used and why? I noticed that he was raising his intelligence a fair amount, what for? |
Yeah, I realise it can be done and how Kakero, I did "finish" the game remember? ;)
I just didn't really want to conceive that a game of such magnitude can be treated in such a way. :D You could always argue that the open-endedness of Morrowind means you can never finish the game really until all possible subquests are complete, leaving you with no other possible direction or action in the game save exploratory completionism. But that's being a bit pedantic. By that argument then, all that this gamer has really done therefore is the traditional RPG cliche of 'killing the big baddie'. Meanwhile the prophecy of the Nerevarine remains unfulfilled and so many other of the game's big subplots. |
I really want to watch that video, but I hate spoilers :( I vow to complete the game today and watch that video tomorrow.
|
Hmm has anyone seen this guy apparently finish Super Mario Brothers in 11 minutes ?
I think he did it using a ROM emulator but the video is around here somewhere. Edit: here it is on this site as well [ 05-04-2005, 07:29 AM: Message edited by: T-D-C ] |
