Ok, woke up this morning, had breakfast, but had to switch hands, getting dressed and I had to stop using my right hand totaly because it kept messing up.
Now, I turn on my computer and I find it's gotten worse, I've just had to switch my mouse hand and I'm practicaly typing this post with my left hand.. I've gone cack handed overnight! Has this happend to anyone else? I mean it's like my off hand has switched overnight, grrrr, damn DM must be making changes to my charactor sheet while I wasn't looking. |
You're awake, but your hand is probably still asleep. :D

Well, you know what they say: variety is the spice of life.

It's extreamly disconserting to suddenly find yourself left handed.
I can't even write with my right hand, and the scary part is I'm now good with my left hand. I'm not frelling joking, this is scary. |
Do you have tapeworms?
|
...
No It's not funny. If I'm not right handed tommorrow I'm going to the hospital, people don't just go cack handed overnight. |
Doctor, doctor i'm left handed...
Cheer-up, left handed people live longer |
Yes, do cheer up. Maybe you'r sore from yesterday or something. Play any racketball recently?
|
Do you notice anything odd about your right hand, like swelling or discolouration?
|
Could be carpal tunnel or something to that effect.
Or since you're suddenly able to use your left hand so well, you could be ambidextrous, although that doesn't normally happen overnight I don't think. |
That's....really weird. Can you even write with your right hand anymore?
EDIT- Gangrell- Carpal Tunnel wouldn't make your right hand completely unusable and your left your best hand though would it? [ 04-17-2005, 01:44 PM: Message edited by: Sir Goulum ] |
Maybe you leveled up and increased your DEX score to 15 so you could then take the ambidextrous feat. Good thing is you can now take improved two weapon fighting

Here's some symptomes for carpal tunnel, sorta sounds like what you have.
Symptoms usually start gradually, with frequent burning, tingling, or itching numbness in the palm of the hand and the fingers, especially the thumb and the index and middle fingers. Some carpal tunnel sufferers say their fingers feel useless and swollen, even though little or no swelling is apparent. The symptoms often first appear in one or both hands during the night, since many people sleep with flexed wrists. A person with carpal tunnel syndrome may wake up feeling the need to "shake out" the hand or wrist. As symptoms worsen, people might feel tingling during the day. Decreased grip strength may make it difficult to form a fist, grasp small objects, or perform other manual tasks. |

My hands are back to normal, I'd done a bad roll a few days ago and my right shoulder was a little off, now it's not so bad.
I dunno, I mean 3.5 there's no ambi feat's. |
Back to normal. So your left hand lost its talents once again.
There's only one explanation for this. It was in fact your right hand all along. Uhuh. That's right. You must've been trapped on the other side of a mirror for a day, nothing else makes sense. The only reason you didn't post backwards was because your eyes were set the other way around as well. The question is, how did you get in? And out? It's a mystery. |

This is wierd, Ian, the only explanation is that you were already good with your left hand but didn't know it, cos you never tried, and your right hand was injured but it's better now. Or can you no longer write well etc. with your left hand??? |
