Where do i get it from and whom?

The spell? You can buy a scroll from Lady Yuth in the Adventurer's Mart.

I have met the scroll in many stores acros the game.
Wonder what choices will it give when the wisdom of asker is 25?

she was the first one i went thru - the chick hiding in the book cases west of lucy the wyvern. She doesn't have it.

What's the deal with that Wyvern called Lucy anyway, does it do something if you have a familiar?

I think Lucy is only supposed to show that FR is a strange place, a kind of haughty decoration? And anyway you can't get a wyvern familiar, only psuedo and fairy dragon (if your good) as the closest you can get, right?...someone is going to prove me wrong now...

Maybe Ribald used to be a ranger. Rangers sometimes get companions that are a great deal bigger and meaner than the familiars mages get. The followers feature of the AD&D role-playing game has sadly not been implemented in this game. Instead you get stronghold quests.

Ribald is not a ranger. I remember he was casting alot of spells on me when i attacked; Therefore he is either a mage or some sort of fighter/mage. I think he is listed in the manual as to what his class and level are, but i dont remember.

He's a fighter/mage.

Lucy's his familiar. You can't get a wyvern familiar in the game. Go figure. A lot of NPC's have things you can't get... but THEY don't have godsblood, so hmph.

Fortunately I had a save game near the Adventurer's Mart, and guess what? Lady Yuth does sell it... ...
